Priya slowly let go of the window handle . She was breathing fast. For a moment , everything stopped , the air, the night , even her throughts.
Then she took a step back . I trust you , she said softly.
Arjun didn't say anything, but his eyes softened a bit . The boy outside look hurt. His hope turned into pain .
Didi .... He whispered again , but this voice is weak.
Priya closed her eyes tight. She couldn't look at him anymore. When she opened them… the boy was gone. Only the fountain remained, making its quiet water sound in the silence.
The room felt heavy now. Priya sat on the bed, her hands shaking a little.
