Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: I’m Starting to Feel Something for That Little Bastard

After Hirose Yoru returned to her bedroom, Kaguya finally lowered herself back down.

Her body began to move.

Riku finally understood the thrill that drove men to such pursuits.

Heat enveloped him, her movements finding a rhythm that was just right.

After letting her take the lead for a while, Riku shifted

But just as he reached the critical moment—he stopped.

Kaguya's body went from fever pitch to sudden, aching stillness in an instant.

A mischievous impulse took hold. He leaned close to her ear.

"Ma'am," he murmured. "Do you prefer the front… or the back?"

She didn't answer. Her hips kept moving, searching.

He pressed a kiss to her earlobe.

Smack.

A light slap landed on her rear.

The dual stimulation made her voice tremble.

"D-Don't make noise… Yoru will hear…"

"Then answer me, ma'am."

"…The back."

The word came out thick with shame.

Hearing her surrender, Riku pressed deeper, moving with deliberate slowness.

A short while passed.

Finally, Kaguya couldn't hold back anymore.

"Riku-kun…" Her voice was barely a whisper.

"Ma'am," he said quietly. "Are you begging me?"

Her body started moving on its own.

Riku stopped entirely.

"…Please," she breathed. "Faster."

He pressed against her, lips brushing her ear.

"Let me ask again, Kaguya Hirose … are you begging me?"

"…Yes."

.........

In her bedroom, Yoru couldn't shake the uneasy feeling.

Something was off about her Mom.

The way she'd sounded—hesitant, strange—that wasn't like her.

Something's wrong.

She got up quickly.

Instead of calling out, she opened her bedroom door and stepped into the living room.

Riku was there, arranging dishes on the table.

Her Mom was nowhere in sight—not in the living room, not in the kitchen.

"Yoru," Riku said easily. "You're just in time. Lunch is almost ready."

She scowled at him. "Where's my Mom?"

"She got something on her clothes in the kitchen. Went to change."

As if on cue, Kaguya emerged from her bedroom in a fresh outfit.

Her face was unusually flushed.

"Mom, why is your face so red?"

The question only deepened the color in Kaguya's cheeks.

A wave of shame and something like humiliation washed over her.

"I…"

Riku stepped in smoothly.

"We were both working in the kitchen. Got a bit crowded.

Yoru walked over to him, stopping close enough that her body language was unmistakable.

"Scumbag," she said flatly. "You'd better behave."

From an angle her Mom couldn't see, Riku caught her wrist.

"You keep calling me that," he murmured. "Makes me want to live up to it. Home early—did things not go well with your boyfriend?"

He paused.

"Did you confirm what I told you?"

Yoru yanked her hand free.

"Don't flatter yourself. My boyfriend and I are doing great."

Riku's voice stayed low.

"Of course. You two seem so happy together. I wonder, though—if the school found out about Shirō's little outing… what kind of trouble would he be in? I hear he's always been such a model student."

The fear Yoru had been trying to suppress surfaced.

She met his eyes.

"What do you want?"

Riku spread his hands and didn't answer.

"Let's eat. The food's getting cold."

He sat down at the table like he owned the place, gesturing for Yoru and Kaguya to join him.

The meal passed in heavy silence.

Yoru kept her head down, eating plain rice without touching the dishes.

Kaguya shot Riku several pointed glares, clearly displeased.

Then her eyes widened slightly.

She felt something brush against her leg under the table.

Riku had stretched his foot out, touching her thigh through her black stockings.

She ducked her head, shoveling rice into her mouth to hide her reaction.

The narration whispered in Riku's mind.

[You continue teasing Kaguya Hirose right in front of her daughter. Push a little further—make her more uncomfortable. After lunch, once Yoru retreats to her room, you can pull Kaguya into her bedroom…]

Riku's foot moved higher.

Kaguya's expression grew strained.

She pressed her lips together, her face burning.

What is this boy doing? We're in the middle of lunch!

She shot him another sharp glare.

He didn't look up from his food, acting as if nothing was happening.

Kaguya snuck a glance at Yoru—her daughter was still focused on her rice, oblivious.

She allowed herself a moment of relief.

Then Riku went further.

His toes slipped beneath the hem.

"Ah—!"

Both Riku and Yoru looked up at the sudden sound.

Yoru started to speak, but Riku was faster.

"Ma'am? What's wrong? Your face is really red."

Kaguya set down her chopsticks and pressed her hands to her cheeks.

"I think… I'm feeling a bit overheated. I'm going to get some water."

She rose quickly and left the table.

Yoru and Riku were alone again.

He resumed eating as if nothing had happened.

Yoru watched him for a moment, then looked back down at her rice.

Mom has been acting strange today. In the kitchen, at the table… she'd never seen her so flustered before.

Could it be because of Riku?

She glanced at him, eating so casually, and dismissed the thought.

She'd have to talk to her Mom later.

.........

Away from the table, Kaguya leaned against the hallway wall.

Her heart was racing.

Her chest rose and fell with each quick breath.

Her mind drifted back to the kitchen before lunch—to everything that had happened there.

She pressed her thighs together.

Her thoughts were spiraling, desire coiling tighter in her stomach.

She almost lost her balance, bracing herself against the wall.

Her whole body felt restless, feverish.

"I'm actually…" she whispered to herself. "…starting to feel something for that little bastard?"
