Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 The Immortal Ship of Luofu, Soaring Through the Starry Sea!

Chapter 22 The Immortal Ship of Luofu, Soaring Through the Starry Sea!

A profound fear of the unknown enveloped Di Tian.

"Now that such a terrifying being has actually come to our Douluo Continent, what should we do?"

Di Tian looked at Gu Yuena, his tone anxious.

"A civilization capable of traversing the stars would probably destroy us with ease, wouldn't it?"

Seeing her panicked subordinates, Gu Yuena forced herself to calm down.

She is the ruler of all soul beasts; she cannot act rashly.

"Don't be too afraid."

Gu Yuena took a deep breath and said in a low voice.

"Gods can also travel through the sea of stars; the Dragon God of yesteryear could easily shatter the void."

"So although the Luofu Immortal Ship seems powerful, it is not necessarily invincible."

"Although they come from the sea of stars, since they have descended to Douluo Continent, they will be subject to the rules of this world."

Although she comforted her subordinates verbally, Gu Yuena couldn't shake off her unease as she looked at the towering, sky-covering celestial ship.

...

Spirit City, Hall of Offerings.

Qian Daoliu stood beneath the enormous angel statue, gazing up at the sky.

Even the usually composed peerless Douluo was now filled with shock.

"The Luofu Immortal Ship, an extraterrestrial civilization?"

Qian Daoliu sighed deeply, a flash of understanding appearing in his eyes.

"No wonder I couldn't find the words 'Luofu Immortal Ship' even after searching through all the ancient books. It turns out it's an alien civilization."

"I knew it, how could such a behemoth appear out of nowhere on this continent?"

He looked at the celestial ship cutting through the waves in the Milky Way in the picture, and a trace of longing appeared in his eyes.

"To roam the starry sky, what a magnificent sight!"

"In comparison, our struggle for power and profit on this Douluo Continent is like that of frogs at the bottom of a well."

...

Jialing Pass, atop the city wall.

The wind howled, stirring the six brilliant wings behind Qian Renxue.

This new god, who inherited the position of angel, has lost her former arrogance and domineering attitude.

Qian Renxue stared intently at the sky.

The colossal starships depicted in the scene, the magnificent sight of them traversing countless star systems, weighed heavily on her heart like a boulder.

"The Immortal Ship of Luofu, sailing through the sea of stars?"

"An alien civilization?"

Qian Renxue's voice was somewhat hoarse.

As a deity, she could sense that beyond Douluo Continent lay an endless void, but she never imagined that such a brilliant and vast civilization existed there.

They can even form fleets and traverse star systems.

Bibi Dong stood beside her daughter, the veins on the back of her hand holding the scepter slightly visible.

She was also quite shaken.

"Could such a colossal crocodile really exist on the continent?"

"I had imagined that there was a continent beyond Seagod Island, but I never thought that there was a heaven beyond heaven."

This Luofu Immortal Ship is too mysterious.

So mysterious that even she, the successor of the Rakshasa God, felt a chill run down her spine.

Bibi Dong took a deep breath, forcing herself to regain her rationality.

She is the Empress of the Spirit Empire; she cannot afford to misbehave.

Bibi Dong frowned, her mind racing.

"That's not right."

"This logic doesn't make sense."

Qian Renxue turned her head and looked at her mother.

"What's wrong?"

Bibi Dong pointed to the image on the sky and said in a deep voice:

"Look, the Luofu Immortal Ship comes from roaming the Milky Way and trading with many civilizations. It is clearly not some hermit who lives in seclusion."

"Given their immense strength and the fact that they have remained on the continent for hundreds of years, why have they never shown themselves?"

"Why not intervene in the conflicts on the continent? Why not even leak the slightest bit of information?"

This is indeed a point of contention.

When a powerful figure descends, it is often accompanied by conquest and domination.

But this Luofu Immortal Ship was unusually quiet.

Qian Renxue pondered for a moment, a glint of light flashing in her eyes.

"You mean, the Luofu Immortal Ship is wary of the strength of our Douluo Continent?"

Bibi Dong nodded confidently.

Her initially panicked heart quickly calmed down after finding this logical foothold.

"That's right."

"There is only one explanation."

Bibi Dong's lips curled up slightly, regaining some of the composure of an empress.

"Xue'er, look, our Spirit Empire ranks third in power, even higher than the Tang Sect, which ranks fourth."

"However, if we were to actually fight, we might not be able to secure a victory against Tang San."

"What does this mean? It means that the ranking of the power list takes into account too many factors, such as the number of people, resources, territory area, and so on."

"Although the Luofu Immortal Ship is ranked first on the power list, it doesn't mean that their top combat power can definitely crush us!"

Bibi Dong found her reasoning increasingly convincing.

"In terms of high-level combat strength, they may not be as strong as us!"

"And even if they are stronger than us, their strength is probably only limited!"

"Perhaps their strongest combat power is only at the level of a first-level god!"

In Bibi Dong's view, godhood is the limit of power.

The Star Dou Great Forest ranks second, which is just one more than the Silver Dragon King.

The Spirit Empire ranks third because it has two successors to the divine throne.

The differences between these three are not as large as one might imagine.

Perhaps the Luofu Immortal Ship is the same, only its advantage lies in its massive size rather than its individual combat strength.

As Qian Renxue listened to her mother's analysis, her tense nerves relaxed a little.

"What you said makes a lot of sense!"

If the other side truly possessed overwhelming power, they would have unified the Douluo Continent hundreds of years ago. Why wait until now?

It must be due to some kind of rule restriction, or fear of the divine inheritance on the continent.

But then, another thought flashed through Qian Renxue's mind.

Once that thought appeared, it grew wildly like weeds.

She looked at Bibi Dong, her tone becoming somewhat hesitant.

"However... there is another possibility."

Bibi Dong looked at her, "What possibility?"

Qian Renxue pointed to the city wall beneath her feet, then to the ants in the distance.

"That means they see us as ants."

Would a dragon care what the ants at its feet are fighting over?

"The life or death of ants is naturally not a concern."

"If they don't like any of the ants, or if they're in a bad mood, they can simply destroy us and reshape the continent."

The moment those words were spoken, the air on the city wall froze instantly.

Bibi Dong's pupils dilated suddenly, her face filled with horror.

"What? You see us as ants?"

"This... this can't be possible!"

Even with Bibi Dong's composure, this speculation made her heart skip a beat.

If it's out of fear, then it means that both sides are still playing the game on the same level.

To ignore it is to deliver a crushing blow, a complete and utter despair.

Hu Liena, standing at the back, was pale at this moment.

She quickly stepped forward and forced a smile.

"The teacher is right, how could that be!"

"Sister Xue'er, what you're saying is too alarmist and shocking."

"We have gods among us, how could we possibly be ants?"

Hu Liena desperately wanted to deny this conjecture, because once she accepted this premise, all the efforts made by the Spirit Empire would become a joke.

Qian Renxue sighed and shook her head.

"That's just my guess."

"After all, the size of that immortal ship is simply too astonishing."
