"What makes you think so?" Nhel asked.
Anisha inhaled, anger building inside her. "She made efforts to make it look like I'm in an affair with her uncle," Anisha revealed.
"I see. Regardless of that, I'm positive you don't have anything with him, so everything's good," he said.
"But do you believe me?" Anisha asked.
"Believe what?"
"That she would try to do such a thing," Anisha pressed. But Nhel only stared at her, which made her feel down.
"Let's not dwell on this, okay? You are not in any form of affair with that Prince, and that's all that matters," Nhel assured softly before he headed out.
Anisha's lips tightened. What was he going to see her for?
After Nhel had been gone for some time, she decided to follow him. What business did he have with her that he was going to see her?
She stepped out of the room and passed through the corridors when someone bumped into her.
"I'm sorry, my Lady." A slender woman with a small stature apologized in a shaky voice.
