"Elio said that this matter must be decided by you. And the decision of this choice will change many things."
"Mm, I've chosen."
The newborn consciousness opened its hazy eyes, looking at this world in confusion.
"Ka... Kafka?"
"Great, you still remember me."
A happy smile appeared on Kafka's face, as if she was very happy that the person in front of her still retained memories of her.
However, very quickly, the smile on Kafka's face faded, and she said softly,
"Listen to me..."
Kafka and Silver Wolf pulled back the curtains of the stage. The protagonist had already stepped onto the stage, about to meet her Partners, and then, together with them, perform this great story that would affect the entire universe, spanning the future and the past.
Kafka held Stelle and walked outside with Silver Wolf. They would place Stelle at the intersection of destiny, letting her meet Dan Heng and March 7th of the Astral Express, and then unfold the subsequent adventure story.
But just as they walked out of the place where the Stellaron was sealed, preparing to pass through the door to the outside corridor, they saw a person standing at the entrance, blocking their path.
Seeing that person, Silver Wolf, who had been chewing bubblegum, forgot to keep chewing, and Kafka, who was holding Stelle, was filled with disbelief, a rare look of shock appearing in her eyes.
Caelus looked at these two famous Stellaron Hunters, as well as the chosen protagonist of destiny.
"So, this is the beginning of destiny?"
Caelus looked at Silver Wolf and Kafka and said calmly, "Hello."
"This... this part isn't in Elio's script! And! He... he shouldn't be here either!"
Silver Wolf stared at Caelus in front of her, bewildered. Although Elio's script didn't explain many future things clearly and only provided most of the current script, she knew that the person in front of her definitely should not be appearing at this stage.
"I don't think I am anyone you know."
"I am the abandoned destiny, the possibility that was not chosen by anyone and eventually sank into Nihility. It's just that I was lucky, and in the end, through some coincidences, I crawled out of Nihility."
After taking one last look at the individual named Stelle, Caelus turned and left without any hesitation. His task was already completed, there was no point in staying. Taking advantage of this chaos, he quickly slipped into the sealed area to see what secrets were inside.
"Kafka, are you okay?"
Silver Wolf could feel that Kafka's emotions were clearly off.
"No, I'm fine. Let's finish the script of destiny first, and then I need to find Elio and ask him clearly what's going on."
Caelus watched as the Antimatter Legion Voidranger before him turned into a gray sculpture, then collapsed and vanished. He looked toward the distance, where a Trampler was already drawing its bow, ready to attack him at any moment.
"I clearly came here to investigate secrets. Why did you guys follow me into a place where there's nobody around?"
With no other choice, Caelus had to act as a cleaner, clearing out the Antimatter Legion grunts that were blocking his path and had inexplicably wandered into this sealed area.
Meanwhile, in a hidden corner, a slightly damaged small mirror was floating, reflecting Caelus's appearance.
"This little guy has finally started moving. If he had stayed holed up any longer, I wouldn't have been able to resist inviting him personally."
Inside Herta's private office, although it usually only contained one of her puppets, the genius herself had descended in person. She was watching Caelus, who was advancing through the sealed cabin, with great interest through a mirror.
In reality, Herta hadn't discovered Caelus immediately. It was only while performing maintenance on one of her small puppets that she suddenly noticed its visual system seemed to have a malfunction, resulting in blurriness when capturing certain frames.
After careful maintenance, Herta was certain that her puppet had no issues. The slight blurriness must have been caused by something. A normal scientist or researcher might have just ignored it as a random system bug.
But as a genius, Herta didn't believe such problems just happened, so she decided to get to the bottom of it.
She continuously combed through various observation equipment across Herta Space Station, tracking the patterns of those blurry spots, sometimes clear, sometimes chaotic. Finally, by adjusting her Herta puppets and spending another week, she summarized all the paths and patterns, calculating the other party's location using algorithms.
Herta then directly deployed four of her mirrors to carefully scan and screen everything in that area, eventually locating that anomalous data point.
This little guy looked like one of those sneaky Memokeepers from the Garden of Recollection who loved to steal things. However, unlike them, he didn't try to steal the memories of the peerlessly wise and universally beautiful Madam Herta right away, instead, he was particularly interested in mediocre people.
Moreover, the way this little guy obtained memories was very unique, he recorded them through the retelling and descriptions of others, which even included parts of the parties' emotions.
This little guy even knew how to return the favor, staying behind to work for her as payment.
This piqued Herta's interest, and she even specifically sealed off one of her cabins to use as bait to lure this little guy in.
To be honest, if she hadn't detected energy fluctuations from both the Remembrance and Nihility Paths on this little guy, which were not weak at all, and given that this little guy was too cautious and never touched secrets related to her, Herta was afraid that if she made too big a move, this amazing little guy might run away.
Otherwise, there would have been no need for her to go through such trouble, specifically setting up a cabin as a trap to capture this little guy.
As for the Antimatter Legion invasion, Herta didn't care much. It was just a small-scale invasion, nothing major, and the people from the Astral Express were there too. The reputation of the Trailblazers was known throughout the universe.
"Let me see just how this rare specimen, with both the Nihility and Remembrance Paths bestowed upon him, will perform."
Herta said this, but in reality, someone had already stepped onto a third Path at this moment.
Not long ago, when Caelus claimed the rewards for the first stage of his main quest, he received the gaze of a brand-new Aeon.
Caelus looked at the Aeon that appeared before him, which resembled a stone statue and possessed elements of black-and-white contrast, his expression somewhat confused.
"Who is this?"
Having been at Herta Space Station for so long, Caelus naturally understood the basic conditions of this universe and recognized most of the widely known Aeons, but he had absolutely no impression of the Aeon before him.
And as this Aeon cast a glance, Caelus came to know of Its existence.
The Aeon of Equilibrium, HooH.
