Chapter 22 - Chapter 22

Win... Win!" Kao shouted.

He was trying to act cool and keep his "handsome prince" image, even though that image was already ruined. He only cared about looking good for one person: Mok.

As Oat and Kao waited, Win looked at his two "dumbass" friends. In his head, he really wanted to throw them both into a river and make sure they never got out!

"Fools. No wonder they are still single," Win said with a face full of disgust.

"Hey, Kao... don't you think Win is acting strange?" Oat asked, watching Win walk toward them.

Kao didn't even hear him. He was too busy staring at Mok. To Kao, everything Mok did was adorable—even the way he was holding a simple pen was cute.

Suddenly, Mok accidentally looked back at him. Kao flashed his best "handsome" smile, but Mok didn't smile back.

Instead, Mok pointed his pen at Kao like a tiny spear and mouthed the words: "You...are.... dead."

Kao turned around so fast his head almost spun. "Oh shit! What should I do? Oat... I'm done! Mok is not joking. If he says he will do it, he will definitely do it!"

Oat looked at Kao and grinned. He knew exactly how to scare his friend even more.

He stared at Kao with a serious face until Kao finally snapped.

"I get it! I'll stop talking! I won't run my mouth again!" Kao promised, looking at the floor.

"Just don't look at me like that, Oat!"

Trying to change the subject, Kao pointed ahead. "Look at Artit. He's lost in love like a complete fool."

Oat sighed deeply. "Look who's talking," he muttered. "Let's go. Win, come on!"

"Mmm... coming," Win replied, hiding his phone.

They all started walking through the university booths. It was total chaos—fights, rejections, and people flirting everywhere.

It was like every drama happened at once. No one wants to wait twenty chapters for their love story to start, Win thought as he checked his messages from Kevin again.

The three trios walked through the school fair. In the front, Lamon, Toffee, and Mok were all holding hands in a line, swinging them happily.

Behind them, Artit, Kao, and Oat followed closely, watching their favorite people with soft smiles. Win walked at the very back, looking at all of them.

Lamon turned next to him. "Mok, which club are you planning to join?"

Mok stopped and pushed his glasses up his nose. He said seriously, "Obviously, the Anime Club."

"What? Why?" Lamon asked, surprised.

"You are a genius! Why the Anime Club?"

Toffee burst out laughing. "Lamon, you don't know him! He actually cried when his favorite character—"

Before Toffee could finish, Mok let go of their hands and jumped to cover Toffee's mouth.

"M-o-kkk!" Toffee struggled. Suddenly, Toffee licked Mok's palm.

"Eww! Toffee, you're so dirty!" Mok yelled, wiping his hand on his pants. "You're dead! Go wash your hand!"

The two of them started chasing each other like kids. Lamon stayed where he was, laughing uncontrollably at his friends.

Behind them, the other boys were in their own worlds. Oat stared at Lamon with a dazed look, completely lost because Lamon looked so happy.

Artit watched Toffee run and whispered, "Be careful, you'll get hurt," but he couldn't stop smiling.

Kao was staring so hard at his crush that his mouth was hanging open; he didn't want to miss a single second of this view.

Win sighed loudly. Why am I even here? he thought. These three are complete fools.

Even the students walking past could see it—these boys were madly in love.

Win shook his head. Suddenly, his phone buzzed so hard it felt like it would explode.

It was a message from Kevin: "If you aren't here within one hour, I'm putting your bed outside.

Also, no hot dinner for you for one week!"

Win didn't wait a second. He didn't even say goodbye to his love-struck friends. He ran as if his life depended on it.

Toffee was already tired, but Mok still had the energy to run.

Suddenly, Artit walked up to Toffee and stopped him. "Stop running, you will get too tired," Artit said gently.

Artit took out a handkerchief embroidered with lotus flowers which entangled with red thread.

He carefully wiped the sweat from Toffee's forehead and face. Then, he took a bottle of water he was carrying, opened the cap, and handed it to him.

"Thank you, Phi," Toffee said, blushing shyly.

Meanwhile, Kao ran to a booth to buy a bottle of water for Mok.

But by the time he got back, Mok was already drinking from a different bottle.

Kao's face went blank; he looked like he was cursing the water bottle in Mok's hand because he wanted to be the one to give it to him.

"So, which club did you decide on, Toffee?" Oat asked.

"Of course the 'Piano Boy' will be at the Music Club," Mok teased him.

Artit looked at Toffee with worry. "If you don't want to join, you don't have to."

"It's okay. I already promised Phi Sara," Toffee replied. "I will join the club."

"Then let's go! The music booth is in that corner," Oat said. He looked back to check on Win, but Win had completely disappeared. "Wait, where is Win?"

"That's right, where did he go?" Kao asked, looking around to see if Win was hiding or watching them.

Artit smiled with a smirk. "He probably went to handle something else."

"Tell us! Where did he go?" Kao pressed.

"He probably went to treat a 'sick wolf,'" Artit said playfully.

"A wolf? Is he going to the zoo?" Kao asked.

He and Oat were confused as they walked toward the music booth.

At the booth, everyone was busy giving out flags and promoting the music department.

When Sara saw Toffee, her eyes lit up. She ran over immediately. "Oh, Toffee! You really came!"

"Phi Sara, Sawatdee khab... of course, I promised you," Toffee said.

"Oh, so sweet! You don't need to be so formal next time, okay?" Sara was so happy to see him. Then she looked behind Toffee and saw all the famous boys standing together.

"Oh! Is my booth really that famous?" she joked.

"I can't believe it..." Sara said, her eyes wide.

"It's been a while since we all saw each other, right?"

"Sawatdee khab, Phi Sara!" the boys greeted her.

"Sawatdee..." Sara replied.

Inside her head, Sara was screaming. Wait, who did I see this morning? Is it better if I just get struck by lightning? Why is this so scary? Even though her mind was racing, she kept a perfect "poker face" so no one would know she was nervous.

"Anyway, Toffee, you are officially a member of our club! Let me introduce you to everyone."

Sara introduced the members one by one.

While Toffee spoke with the other students, his eyes kept drifting back to Artit. He looked at him again and again, unable to look away.

"Oh! There is someone else I want you to meet," Sara said. "Jay? Jay!" She asked another student, "Where is Jay?"

"He was just here," the student replied. "Where did he go?"

While they were searching, Jay walked straight toward the booth, not knowing Toffee was already there.

As he got closer, he spotted Toffee. Jay immediately stopped to check his reflection in his phone, making sure his hair wasn't messy and that he looked handsome.

"Oh, Jay! Where did you go?" a student called out.

Sara waved him over. "Jay, come here!"

Jay was smiling from ear to ear, feeling more nervous than he had ever felt in his life.

"Sawatdee khab, I'm Jay," he said, trying to act cool," I am a second year student , from Music department. "

"Sawatdee khab, I'm Toffee, Phi Jay," Toffee replied with a bright smile.

Jay stared at Toffee, not wanting to miss a single detail of his face.

Toffee kept smiling—but in his heart, he was still only thinking about Artit and the memory of their kiss.

Nearby, Artit's eyes moved to Jay.

Suddenly, the tension in the air turned freezing cold. Everyone around them felt the chill except for Toffee and Jay, who were still caught in their own world.
