It was as if countless thorns were stabbing into his body, leaving him frozen and unable to push her away.
Her perfume and her voice terrified him.
Before he knew it, his legs gave out, and he slowly sank to the floor, dragging Ria down with him as she continued clinging to him.
He swallowed his anger and stared at her with contempt.
Her fake tears and worry filled the air, disgusting him completely.
"Get away," his voice became cold.
"If you don't... don't say I didn't warn you. I will slap a woman."
Ria lifted her head. Her hands pulled back as she saw a sudden flash of fear in his eyes. Before she even realized it, she had already created distance between them.
Mok gritted his teeth and rose to his feet. He lowered himself slightly, not wanting her scent to linger on him.
"This is your last chance. Nothing happened here, right, senior?"
His expression said something without a word. 'If you dare come close to me again, even I don't know what I will do.'
Slam!
He stormed outside, leaving Ria entirely alone.
His steps and breathing grew heavier as he walked. He wanted to cry and scream, but he couldn't. For a moment, he almost lost his balance and stumbled.
'I am okay. Everything will be okay.'
Screech!
The sound of hurried steps echoed through the hallway, catching his attention.
Mok froze in the middle of the stairs. Out of the darkness, a figure rushed toward him.
Through the shadows, their eyes locked.
"Mo..." Before the name could fully leave his lips, Mok hugged him tightly, unwilling to let go.
"Where... where... where did you go?" Mok stammered, his voice carrying a hint of anger.
"Mok, stop being angry."
Kao caressed his hair, breathing heavily. Over time, they had grown fond of each other. This kind of gesture had become a natural part of Kao.
Seeing Mok so upset, he couldn't control the urge to soothe him.
"By the time I got back to Toffee, he said your professor called you. From there, it just took a little time."
Kao finished the explanation in a single breath, as if his life depended on it.
"A little time," Mok hissed. "Tsk."
"Ah... don't be mad, won't you?"
"Mmh."
With a low hum, they embraced tightly, caring about nothing else in the world.
...
The air inside the car grew warm and heavy, filled with the soft sound of their lips parting. A finger continued to trace the lower edge of Mok's mouth as their kiss deepened.
"Ha... ha... h... uff..."
They parted for a brief moment. Their gazes locked together, falling back into the warmth.
"Kao..." The low whisper sent a flush down Kao's neck, making him smile awkwardly.
"So this is why my Mok called me."
Kao teased playfully, only to get hit by Mok right after.
Smack!
"Still mad at me?" Kissing his cheek, Kao tried to draw Mok's eyes back to him, but Mok ignored him by staring out the window. He clearly had no plans to forgive Kao for teasing him endlessly.
Kao lowered his head, his lips tracking the scent along Mok's neck.
"Kao... stop."
Who had time to listen? Kao continued, this time more intensely. Biting his earlobe, Kao unbuttoned the shirt covered by the loose robe.
"You smell so good... huh..."
His breathless words didn't stop as his hands explored the broad chest of his partner.
He paused, fixing his eyes on Mok, who was too embarrassed to speak because of Kao's sudden actions—especially since they were parked right in the campus lot.
His fingers nipped at the front of Mok's pants.
"Wait..."
Kao teased until he felt satisfied by Mok's reaction. He lowered the zipper, but Mok stopped him before things went out of control.
"Do you know where we are?"
It was the same question as always, but Kao gave a different answer.
"It's safe. It's not like it's our first time doing this in my car."
"But..." Mok groaned.
"Are you worried because we are on campus?"
Mok nodded.
Suddenly, Kao couldn't help but laugh.
"Haha... Didn't you hear the loud cheering? Everyone is over there. Rest assured."
He wanted to convince him. No, he simply wanted Mok. For Mok, it was exactly the same, but unlike Kao, Mok was always overly cautious.
"Just a little, right?"
Mok still doubted it despite the numerous reassurances. In fact, he had already asked the same question for the fourth time.
"Really, just a little."
Again, he asked. Deep down, Mok knew it wouldn't go as he planned, but what could he do when Kao begged him like this?
Kao reached out, his touch causing Mok to shiver slightly as the tension between them peaked.
"Kao... let's move to the back seat."
Finally, the words managed to break out.
...
The car was locked, and it was cramped inside.
Both were roughly the same size, with only a slight difference in height and weight.
Lying back on the seat, Kao was naked. The chill of the air conditioning met his skin, and the leather beneath him no longer felt soft. Meanwhile, Mok buried his face against Kao's hip, his tongue eagerly exploring the heat of his skin.
"Ha... mmh... hu..."
Kao wrapped both legs around Mok, but the friction and the rush of heat kept his mind dazing out.
"It's enough... Mok... I think I'm ready..."
His hands clenched tightly onto the seat as Mok lifted his head, sliding his pants off completely.
"Let's not waste time..." Mok murmured.
It was all because they had to get back to their friends. To do something like this, they honestly didn't have much time. But when desire takes control of the body, they wouldn't be satisfied until it was fulfilled.
His hands guided himself, worried about hurting Kao.
'We don't have time.'
Even though he tried to loosen things up with his fingers, the entry was still stubborn. He nodded slowly, attempting to push in. Their chests rubbed together, but the difficult angle made it slip out.
When it finally slid inside, Mok felt how tight it was, and Kao gasped.
'What's going on?'
The same thought collided in both of their minds. It was the third time he tried, but midway through, it had slipped out before staying in.
Finally worn out, Mok rested his weight against Kao, a wave of frustration washing over him. To make matters worse, the continuous ringing of a phone made them both uneasy.
"Is it because we are in the car?" Mok mumbled without realizing how silly it sounded.
Instead of laughing at Mok's doubt, Kao pressed his lips onto Mok's as an answer.
"Can you sit up? Let me do it."
Mok's eyes blinked like a worried puppy, but Kao assured him with a warm hug.
Just as Kao suggested, Mok sat back while Kao straddled his lap. He locked his arms securely around Mok's shoulders.
It felt safe, warm.
But after a long, tense moment, he managed to pull Mok completely inside him. Both let out a deep moan, completely forgetting where they were.
Little by little, Mok filled him completely. Kao could feel the deep, heavy movement inside him. It wasn't their first time, but today really felt like the first.
Mok moved his lips forward, biting down on Kao's chest to handle the intense tension.
"Wait... wait... wait..."
Kao struggled for breath.
"Wait, it hurts a little."
More than hurting, it was just deep, but he didn't say that out loud. The slight tremble in his body revealed it, but Mok waited patiently until Kao finally whispered, "Okay, I am okay."
Mok smiled before their tongues tangled hungrily inside each other's mouths. Their throats felt dry, thirsty for more of one another.
Their kiss wouldn't end even as their bodies began to move. As Mok thrust deep inside him, the wet sounds of their intimacy echoed softly inside the cramped car.
As time passed, their skin grew slick with sweat and their limbs felt numb from the tight position, yet they refused to stop.
"We are there. Almost there."
"I am coming... Kao..."
Mok didn't have time to pull out, and the hot fluid spilled entirely inside of Kao. Neither of them had the energy to check; they were both shivering as if hit by an electric shock.
"Mm..." Mok breathed, their mixed scents lingering inside the car.
"I love you... Kao." He held him even tighter after that, until everything finally became silent.
...
"Call him again," Phayu kept telling Toffee relentlessly, while in the corner, Toffee persistently dialed Mok's number.
"Oh... look over there!" Lamon pointed toward the sky.
Red and orange colors blanketed the campus sky.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
With a loud booming sound, the fireworks caught everyone's attention.
Students were busy taking photos, while the three boys got lost in the colors.
From behind, Artit held Toffee close. They shared an unspoken promise: 'I love you.' Their hands locked together, sharing warmth against the cold night air.
Meanwhile, Oat stood right behind Lamon without disturbing him. While the whole campus watched the fireworks, Oat only looked at Lamon. He wanted to hold him, but his trembling hands made him too scared to move closer.
Phayu, witnessing the different versions of love around him, tapped his chest lightly in a comforting way, thinking to himself that it was pretty good to be single.
Cling! Cling!
A sharp bell rang nearby. Phayu's heart felt heavy as he glanced behind him, but there was no one there except a few passing students.
He sighed.
He kept staring at the empty space.
'Am I just imagining things?'
"Phayu... Phayu!"
"Mmh..." Scratching his head, Phayu quickly changed the subject by teasing Lamon about his growling stomach.
...
In the parking lot, Kao and Mok leaned against the side of the car. Mok's head rested on Kao's shoulder as they watched the fireworks together.
"Do you know? They say if you wear a mask and confess your love, it will last forever."
Before Kao could even finish his sentence, Mok had already placed the mask over his face.
"I love you... Kao."
"Kao... Kao..." Mok shook Kao's shoulder, snapping him back to reality. But Kao's mind had already gone wild, the soft voice of Mok echoing inside his head over and over: 'I love you...'
Beautiful colors spread across the sky while their eyes locked onto each other.
The moon and shining stars watched over the warmth of their relationship.
It might just be a college myth, but the Masked Moon Festival would run for two full days...
In a busy world, college life is one of the most meaningful times. Forget the exams, forget all the problems—just chat, eat, play, and laugh. That is the only way a bond truly grows.
And the music festival was just beginning.
Everyone, including the seniors, would change their clothes. Wearing a mask was strictly required for the main event: the ball dance in the open ground.
'I love you... Mok.'
