Chapter 57: Powering Up Again
Ryū had kept the corpse of the traverser called "Meyu Inkyo" this entire time. After all, the Apocalypse Fabrication System was still inside her—and he wasn't about to walk away from 11,000 Points' worth of loot.
He approached the body, which had begun to stink badly enough to turn your stomach.
At roughly one to two meters away—
He stopped.
Because the prompt had already appeared in his mind: [Recover "Apocalypse Fabrication System"? Yes / No]
Last time, because Quest 2 hadn't been completed yet, no matter how many times he'd selected "Yes"—
The recovery wouldn't go through.
But Quest 2 was done now.
Which meant recovering the Apocalypse Fabrication System and completing the final Quest 3 shouldn't be an issue.
Ryū selected "Yes."
After a wait of roughly ten seconds—
Another line of text—visible only to him as the Dimensional Chat Group's Admin—appeared: ["Apocalypse Fabrication System" successfully recovered!]
Immediately after, every group member who'd participated in the quest received a notification.
[Group Quest 3: Travel to the world of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – Geniuses' War of Love and Wits. Recover illegal traverser Meyu Inkyo's "Apocalypse Fabrication System"!

Group Quests 1, 2, and 3 are ALL COMPLETE!
After quest completion, you may remain in this world for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, automatic return to your home world will activate.
Return to home world now? Yes / No]
The moment the notification appeared, Ryū tapped the [Link].
He claimed the 1,000-Point base reward and the 10,000-Point bonus reward.
Yukari and Wolffy each collected their 11,000 Points as well.
Kaguya, however, hadn't been on the official quest roster.
She was a special case.
So she only received the 1,000-Point base reward—the 10,000-Point bonus was off the table. But Kaguya didn't seem the least bit disappointed. Getting 2,000 plus 5,000 plus 1,000 Points was already a windfall beyond anything she'd expected.
After all, she was just a member whose home world was an everyday-life setting. Without Group Quests, scraping together that many Points would've taken a year of Daily Sign-Ins.

Just then, Yukari spoke up.
"I'll take Little Kaguya home first, then head back to Gensōkyō."
Ryū nodded.
"Then I'll head back to my world."
Wolffy chimed in:
"I've been gone nearly twenty days. If I don't get back soon, I'm going to catch a frying pan to the face. I need to move."
Kaguya opened her mouth to say something—but Admin-dono and Wolffy-san had already stepped into the Dimensional corridors and vanished.
She gave a helpless little smile. She'd wanted to thank them.
Without the group members' help, her world might have been doomed.
But since they'd already left…
She'd just have to thank them in private messages.
As if reading Kaguya's mind, Yukari smiled gently beside her.
"Ara ara~ Don't worry, Little Kaguya. Admin-dono and Wolffy are both the easygoing type—they don't sweat the small stuff."
"And this one is the same way. There's no need for thanks. We're all members of the same chat group—helping each other, supporting each other… isn't that the most natural thing in the world? Saying 'thank you' only creates distance."
"If you truly want to show your gratitude… then show it through your actions from now on."
Kaguya blinked at Yukari's words, then nodded thoughtfully.
She was still a sixteen-year-old high schooler—barely sixteen, at that.
Her IQ might have left her peers in the dust. She might have been a straight-A genius across every subject.
But life experience? That was still shallow.
Yukari opened a Gap corridor with a light gesture.
Then led Kaguya inside.

The world of Naruto. Konohagakure. Inside a two-story house.
Ryū stepped out of the Dimensional corridor, and the scenery before him shifted. Familiar surroundings greeted his eyes.
The simple décor wasn't glamorous, but it was clean and practical.
Though a noticeable layer of dust had settled over the floor.
A cobweb had even appeared in one corner.
He'd only been gone a little over two weeks and the place had already turned into this.
Looked like he'd need to do another round of cleaning.
But before that…
There were more important things to take care of.
Ryū checked his Points balance. Current total: 18,100 Points. That broke down to 100 from the feedback bonus, 8,000 from quest base rewards, and the big chunk—10,000 from the bonus reward.
This was his first time breaking into five digits—and he was nearly at 20,000.
Only 1,900 short.
"I need to plan this out carefully. The Six Powers, the two-color Haki that Whitebeard uploaded, Physical Enhancement, Devil Fruit development…"
"All of it needs upgrading. When you look at it that way, 18,100 Points isn't really that much. I'll probably burn through most of it before I've even made a serious dent."
A plan was taking shape in Ryū's mind. The priority right now was physical combat—taijutsu amplification.
Because the Decompose-Decompose Fruit was clearly useless against Kurama—a Tailed Beast made entirely of pure chakra.
Unless he could decompose the Nine-Tails' soul from its chakra body.
But reaching that level of Fruit mastery…
Even if he sank all 18,100 Points into Devil Fruit development alone, it probably still wouldn't be enough.
* * *
According to Whitebeard, the Six Powers had three tiers of proficiency: Beginner, Mastery, and Perfection.
Haki had three tiers as well: Low, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Upgrading each of the six techniques from Beginner to Mastery cost 500 Points each—that was 3,000 Points total.
Going from Mastery to Perfection cost another 1,000 each—6,000 total.
So 3,000 plus 6,000: taking the full Six Powers set to Perfection required 9,000 Points.
If he spent those 9,000 on maxing the Six Powers—
That would leave roughly 9,100 Points.
Of those, at least 6,000 would need to go toward Physical Enhancement.
Without the physical baseline, his body wouldn't be able to handle the higher Six Powers tiers.
Which left a final 3,100 Points.
Low-tier Observation Haki and Armament Haki each cost 1,000 Points. Intermediate-tier for each jumped to 3,000…
"Looks like Haki is a whole different beast from the Six Powers. The price isn't even in the same ballpark."
