Chapter 107: Reincarnators
After getting home, Ryū shut the door behind him at a leisurely pace, sent his consciousness into the Dimensional Chat Group, and turned his attention to the Quest popup.
He hadn't opened the Quest while he was outside—there had been too many people around. The chat group interface was visible to him alone, sure, but it just felt better to handle this kind of thing at home.
Probably just superstition.

Hmm… this Group Quest looks a little… unusual.
Ryū's brow furrowed slowly. Even after just a quick skim, his face registered surprise—his eyes flickering with disbelief and confusion.
It took him a solid ten-plus seconds to fully process the contents.
You've got to be kidding me. Is the wheel of fortune really turning? First it was Whitebeard's world, then Kaguya Shinomiya's—and now it's finally my turn?
Ryū finally broke his silence to vent.
Yes… this Group Quest involved him directly. It involved the Naruto world.
And it appeared to be unfolding right inside Konoha.

Okay, so. The Dimensional Chat Group exists. Illegal transmigrators exist. Illegal reincarnated ones exist. Legitimate transmigrators exist. And now three Rogue Reincarnators show up—which doesn't seem out of pocket on its face… except wait, no. This is absolutely out of pocket. Doesn't this confirm there's a Lord God Space?!
Ryū's eyelid twitched several times. He could have spilled hundreds of words of commentary about this on the spot.
As someone who'd spent serious time reading Chinese web novels, of course he knew exactly what a Reincarnator was. They were a category of beings who could traverse worlds, hopping from dimension to dimension to cause trouble and complete missions.
And wherever Reincarnators existed—a Lord God Space had to exist as well.
Without the protection of the Lord God's great glowing orb, no group of Reincarnators could open dimensional barriers between universes on their own.
Get real. If they were that strong, why would they bother being Reincarnators in the first place?
Which meant the Lord God's great glowing orb… was apparently real too.
If the Lord God orb itself ever joined the Dimensional Chat Group one day, Ryū probably wouldn't even be surprised at this point. He was getting pretty close to fully numb.
After all the random demons and gods who've already shown up in these Quests, how could I not be numb?
* * *
Wait—"Rogue" Reincarnators? Are there legitimate ones too? That phrasing is weird. If there are illegitimate Reincarnators, what counts as legitimate?
Ryū muttered to himself and tapped the [details link].
A scroll of text immediately appeared in his consciousness—information about the three so-called Rogue Reincarnators.
[Reincarnator Profile Briefing]
Per Dimensional Chat Group adjudication: any Reincarnator who has caused damage to a Group member's home world is classified as "Rogue." Whether to eliminate or expel said Rogue Reincarnators is decided by the Admin and the Group's members collectively.
Both legitimate and Rogue Reincarnator Watches can be recovered through the Group. Each recovered Watch awards an additional 500 Points.

So Reincarnators who've damaged a Group member's world get classified as "Rogue." That's the criterion, huh.
Ryū murmured to himself, intrigued.
He'd been genuinely curious about how the Chat Group made the call on what counted as legitimate versus illegitimate. The actual answer turned out to be… surprisingly straightforward.
And not far off from his guess. He'd figured "Rogue" meant they'd done something "criminal." Causing damage to a Group member's world wasn't fundamentally different from criminal behavior.
Either way—Rogue Reincarnators are not the good guys. That much is clear.
* * *
So Minato rushing off in that much of a panic earlier… it has to have been because of those three Reincarnators. They must have done something destructive to the Naruto world. Did they go after Konoha's jinchūriki?
That's extremely likely. Reincarnators always have missions. And theirs almost certainly involves the Nine-Tails. Are they trying to release the Nine-Tails? Or is their objective something else entirely?
If the three Rogue Reincarnators successfully unleashed the Nine-Tails, that would absolutely qualify as catastrophic damage to the Naruto world.
The Nine-Tails' destructive potential needed no explanation. The moment it broke free, the body count would be enormous. And if it happened with no warning whatsoever—released by outside parties—the damage Konoha sustained could be double what it was in the original timeline.
Kakashi's fragmentary report. The sudden appearance of Reincarnators.
Working from those two threads, Ryū could extrapolate quite a lot. Whether his guesses were accurate—that, of course, he had no way of knowing yet.

Ryū was just about to screenshot the Quest and post it to the group when his hand froze.
Because he'd noticed something: this Group Quest didn't specify how many participants could join.
Which meant only he could undertake this Quest.
Only one Group member was permitted to participate.
…Is that how it is, then?
Clearing the static from his head, Ryū murmured: "Eliminate… or expel, huh."
He had no idea what mission these Reincarnators were running. The job in front of him was simply to flush all three of them out of Konoha.
Then again… eliminating or expelling all three only nets a 3,000 Point reward. That means each of them is only worth half a Blackbeard's combat strength?
And these three half-Blackbeards are causing this much damage. The only explanation is that they probably picked up some weird Lord God Space artifact, because at that level of raw power, they shouldn't be able to flip Konoha upside down on their own.
