Chapter 54 - DESITION

He just had to take care of Yumi. Giving up her powers would be...too problematic.

What could he do but take her home? But first, he had to see her friends. He couldn't find them, which was strange, and only two things came to mind: had they abandoned her, or was it just a joke? But why would they do that? They knew Yumi was dying and they were making fun of her.

"Well, I hope it's not a joke—" But what?"

He was surprised to find them asleep, just asleep. "Seriously, why would you sleep in these times? I'm not kidding. I think someone did this to them."

"Okay, right now the important thing is one thing: wake them up. But just in case, I'll have to forgive this." A flash of lightning awakened them. A blue aura surrounded the entire room where Yumi's friends were, while she tried to stay outside because she was hurt, and Axel didn't heal her because he didn't want her power to disappear today.

He must keep as much as possible out of his own skin to avoid becoming a god. What better than a genius who is one: without anyone SPEAKING ANYTHING.

-Nothing seems too much today. This has been terrible. Right now, the fact is this: what is the feeling today? Fame is a nuisance, even in real life. Clearly, this is better than some idiots who know absolutely nothing about the nuisance of everything that will happen, which can be too problematic.

For many, he thought so.

Typical of the cascade of false stereotypes.

Now, the best kind of thing one can think of after a terrible tragedy: a moment with someone dear. Problems are simply incapable of improving everything.

-Goodbye forever, problems.

-What problems? Are there more enemies? -Axel saw Minori and Shiki looking confused. He said all that out loud. It's simply stupid, but he has a plan.

"Well, I have to give you something." A candy-covered ice cream, one of those that comes in a container, was given to Minori in exchange for something super important: "She mustn't say anything."

"Clearly, she and Hibari are easy to manipulate." He smiled and kissed her cheek after thinking. "Excuse me, you remind me of myself as a kid with candy."

"A-ahh, t-t-okay, thanks for that, but what about my friends?" She smiled, pointing at them.

"Nothing, they're just watching."

But before they could get annoyed, he put all that aside because he saw something new: Yumi in her shinobi transformation.

"Excuse me, Axel, but can I ask you something? About Fubuki, you already know, right?"

"Yes, what's up with that? There's a problem."

" She was acting very strangely, her body tensing, and she was especially nervous. What was happening today? Her chest and face were sweating until all that ice melted away. But seriously, what does she want? Is it the same old thing? That she won't give up on being trained, that she thinks she can change history? They'll know about this chaos someday, but let's clarify one detail: her life seems too simple to achieve that, seeing everything through the sad eyes of a child.

"How do you do it? Are you so strong? You can deny it, but I know... you're hiding your power." I want you to train us to become stronger.

All her friends were amazed, especially when she took her ice sword and threw it at her friend, but he stopped it, shocking her. Her surprise was short-lived; he had already taken the sword and touched it. Now he had to tell the truth.

"I can do it, but this training won't be free. It will be hard and cruel."

They were startled, but he continued, explaining that he accepted, but it would only be for one day so they could get in shape, and that they would understand something else: whether they were human or not, whether they were completely human. Yumi, not understanding, hugged Axel tightly, but she didn't notice and let go. Then they left, but Shiki had another idea.

She took Axel's hand and then pressed it against her left breast, as if inviting him. She said, "Oh, it's all worth it. Your training will be useful, for God's sake, don't be hard on us. Besides, I can save money on body image. I'm not like that girl at your house, I know, but believe me when I say I'm good in other aspects. The best thing is this"—she gestured to her body—"good luck."

Good luck and clarification, but this doesn't work.

Axel pretended, but he already has future wives, and these things are probably useless.

"Fine, if you want to play, fine, I'll see your own way."

Those girls left, and he teleported away from there without anyone seeing him. Then he was greeted, or well, almost, by his girlfriends and future wives, but they said that what happened was unfair.

"Why did I tell them anything?" he thought sadly. "Nobody understands that this is necessary in a way."

His plan was originally to corrupt those girls, his strongest emotion being to make his drug...for the best, it's an important, incredible, and super good thing to overcome everything, but clearly it's important and great.

But that doesn't motivate me. We simply must be capable of having motivations and being able to overcome everyone in the world; all the time it's about being strong. Real life works like that: if you're strong you have everything: glory and power, and this gives you everything...but it's a lie; that leaves you mostly alone, or worse.

Clearly it's almost impossible to believe, right? But the best I can do is all this, to soften my heart and be optimistic too, because it's better not to do one important thing for these stories, which would be to notice "weaknesses and strengths".
