Chapter 93 - "The Siege of Silver and Gold"

Chapter 89: The Siege of Silver and Gold

The horizon burned with a sickly, artificial light as the True-Blood faction descended. These were not wolves led by nature, but by the twisted experiments of the Council that had survived the collapse. They moved with a jagged, unnatural speed, their howls carrying the sound of metal scraping on bone.

"They aren't just here to fight, Silas," Elara said, her eyes narrowing as she felt the disturbance in the ley lines. "They are here to uproot the Moon-Oak. They know that if this tree falls, the new bond dies with it."

Silas stood at the front of the bridge, his form beginning to blur as his Alpha energy surged. "Then they will have to go through me first."

Kaelen, the Northern Alpha, stepped up beside him. "And me. I came here to test your peace, Silas, but I won't watch cowards destroy the first real hope our kind has seen in centuries."

The first wave hit the perimeter. Instead of a traditional clash of claws, the air erupted in a storm of silver and gold. Elara stood at the base of the Moon-Oak, her hands pressed against its bark. She wasn't fighting with teeth; she was fighting with the very spirit of the forest. Every time a True-Blood attacker lunged, the roots of the tree rose to meet them, binding them in a glowing, unbreakable grip.

"You cannot win with love!" the leader of the True-Bloods screamed, his face a mask of scars and madness. "Power is taken, not shared!"

Silas met him mid-air, a collision of raw strength and refined purpose. "That is why you've already lost," Silas roared, his voice carrying the weight of the ancestors. "You fight for yourself. We fight for everyone."

As the battle intensified, the Moon-Oak began to pulse with a blinding white light, responding to the danger. A new power was awakening—one that didn't just defend, but transformed the battlefield into a sanctuary where hate had no place to breathe.
