Chapter 102 - "The Chorus of Freedom"

Chapter 99: The New Moon Rises

The transport vehicle hovered over the jagged remains of the Frozen Frontier, the roar of the explosion finally fading into a low, mournful rumble. Inside, the air was silent, heavy with the weight of everything they had gained and everything they had lost. Silas stood by the viewport, his eyes reflecting the silver light of a moon that finally looked different—clearer, brighter, and no longer bound by the Council's filters.

"We did it," Valerius said, breaking the silence. He was leaning against the bulkhead, his usual stoic expression softened by a look of sheer disbelief. "The satellites are broadcasting the truth. The world won't be the same when we land."

Elara walked up to Silas, taking his hand. "It's not just about the world, Silas. It's about the soul of our people. For the first time in centuries, a wolf can look at their reflection and see more than just a broken weapon."

Silas turned to her, the golden flecks in his eyes glowing with a calm, steady warmth. "The Council wanted to build a world based on fear and gears. We're going to build one based on choice and spirit."

As the vehicle turned south, heading back toward the Moon-Oak, a global notification pinged on every communication device. Packs were gathering in city squares, forests, and mountain tops. They weren't fighting; they were howling in a massive, synchronized chorus of freedom. The 'Broken' were no longer broken. They were whole, and they were waiting for their leaders to come home.

"One more step," Silas whispered, looking at the distant green canopy of their valley. "One more chapter to start the rest of our lives."
