The next morning.
I woke up in the mansion and yawned lazily. After a quick wash and change of clothes, Piery came in.
Clatter-clatter.
With breakfast.
"You're awake? You should wake up a bit earlier. The Acting Lord is already reviewing documents."
"Ahem, I'm a slow starter by nature. Even in bed."
"...Look at the bird's nest in your hair."
At Piery's remark, I countered playfully.
"Then why don't you brush out my bird's nest?"
"No thanks. Just eat your breakfast."
"Whoa, looks delicious!"
I watched the breakfast as Piery helped me prepare for the meal. Cereal made from corn and potato starch, fresh milk, and two mocha buns and three boiled eggs. It was a lovely breakfast.
Clink, clack.
Piery placed a glass of water, then put another glass next to it. She was pouring something.
"What's this?"
"It's French Breakfast tea. It'll help you wake up easily."
Kyah, just as I thought. Piery, even though she seems cool and aloof, she knows. The fact that you're a tsundere!
