Terror swooped in, Elina heard her name and looked back at Akirion. Before she even took a breath—as soon as she raised her eyes, she came across an arrow that was flying towards her from a distance.
The arrow was fast. Before she could even react, it happened. The earth itself rose up to her level and covered her from head to toe.
She was tossed backwards a bit but she lost her ground and her back found it's way to the ground. She landed on top of a comfy green heap.
The arrow hit the new created wall and it didn't go through.
Behind the arrow and the wall, stood Akirion with his right hand raised towards Elina, his face cold—emotionless, and his eyes flashing grey a bit. They were halfway open, filled with uncertain feelings, either anger or happiness. He was the wall creator.
On Akirion's right side, Emma, had her hands on air, pointed at Elina, at the same moment, her brown hair was flying behind her neck as if it was a windy day. Her eyes flashed green for a moment and they went back to normal when she returned her hands back to positions, and a sweet—bright smile curled her original pink lips.
"Thanks!" Elina said when she noticed Emma. She realized that the comfy green heap was created by her.
Emma happily responded. "Don't mention it!"
"I owe you one!"
"Your choice, look out for more trouble!" Emma waved her hand and focused back to her fight. She took some steps forward where Emily was standing glaring at Elina — startled.
The wall collapsed, no, more like it dissolved, it went down and left only dust looming around, covering both Elina and Akirion's sight to see what was behind.
'Thank God she didn't get hit. Can't afford to let them get in that state.' He looked down with a disgusted face as he thought of his situation.
Elina noticed Akirion and snapped. "Hey, what was that about?" Elina yelled
Calmly, he responded, with that cold face and voice. Nothing in his expression showed some sincerity. "Sorry, my bad. He said as he raised his hands and started moving towards his opponents.
She looked down and saw an arrow, coated with a blue goo.
Her mind raced and landed right on the spot. 'He saved me and pretends nothing happened. So it was really an arrow, I thought maybe I imagined it.'
"Thank you!" she said, a smile printed on her face.
He stopped —tilted his neck a little to the right and slightly nodded. He suddenly took off, ready to finish the threat.
Akirion thought, 'I should strategies. It's either I use the sword or my magic. It'll be hard to move one by one with a sword, then magic can drain my energy before going for the…"/' he widened his eyes and said, 'what am I even saying… I should use either earth, air or nature.'
He started chanting while he he held his stance, good position for magic casting. He stood with his feet widely spred, his right foot forward while the left a bit behind.
"Terraverde, answer me!" he chanted, his Aura flicked with a green color. It got stronger and stronger by a second. And he grabbed 5 elves with his vines and then he used….
"Earth magic — geope, shooting spears."
He summoned spears from the ground and they shot right under the elves and went up. He turned around and looked at Elina, leaving blood raining and spraying to the ground.
'It's time to finish this, no time to waste.' He thought as he slowly walked towards Elina.
He looked at Emma who suddenly called out….
"Elina!!!!"
Suddenly, he witnessed an arrow piecing the air swiftly charging towards Elina. His lips felt heavy to call out too, his body, his legs were the ones that wanted to race the arrow.
Emma had her hands covering her wide open mouth, her eyes also widened. Emily was also glaring at Elina who was about to be shot on her back.
Elina turned to the left where Akirion was coming from trying to look behind, where she heard her name. Before she sat her eyes on Emma and Emily, she saw nothing, only blackness.
….
…
"Akie!!!!" Emma screamed same second, Emily closed her eyes, afraid to see the arrow's outcome.
Elina opened her eyes and found herself on Akirion's chest.
"Huh, Akie?" Elina's heart bounced on her ribs.
Emily heard her voice
"Akie?, she asked while she removed her hands off her face. Her eyes widened from astonishment
Akirion coughed and that moment, Elina moved away and said sorry. Akirion stood up and looked at Elina, examined all dimensions and sighed in relief after he noticed that she was fine.
He searched for an arrow, and noticed that one of the elves around Elina recieved a headshot. It was lying down, its face up, an arrow piecing through it's head, while the tail was outside.
'Wow, they can kill each other?' he coldly sneered. His smile hinted something horrific. He casted a spell silently.
Geope - muddy trap
Geope - the earth magic spell
The remaining elves were trapped on the ground, their feet stark on the ground.
"Wait, what's going on!" Emma whispered as she saw the elves suffering to move from the ground.
'What is he up to?' Elina thought
"This going to be fun." he whispered, a silent evil grin stretched on Akirion's lips. He picked a bow and said :
"It's time to try a new weapon!"
Elina sneered evil-like, with her head bent to the right.
She took a bow too, that was nearby and took some arrows.
"Akirion!" Emily called in total confusion.
"Elina !" Emma assisted.
Those two were still lost.
'Mhh, let me make this easier for me.' Akirion silently said as he walked towards the ones that were on Elina's side with his aura changing to white.
Suddenly, the elves were frozen from the ground to the neck, they couldn't move, they were like, paralyzed.
"What's going on?"
"These things are standing like statues…. Akirion what….."
Emily and Emma were still confused.
"I don't want to disappoint Amina, not today, not anymore. She have done a lot for me, for us, so no more disappointment from my group. Everyone, it's time to try a new weapon if you like. It's time for elimination."
