"How did- When did- I mean…" I sputtered awkwardly, clutching at my body as if my scrawny arms could cover my entire outfit/frame. I let out a shaky breath and tried to regain my composure, "Hello sir, How may I serve you today?"
I bowed, more than happy to stare down at my feet instead of into Kay's sparkling eyes.
"Woooooowww!" A familiar voice droned sarcastically, "The service here is horrible!"
"Xavier!" I squeaked as I straightened up.
He crossed his arms and winked at me. If I weren't technically working I would've smashed the thrifted teacup in front of him over his dorky bobble head.
"Don't harass the staff," Kay clicked his tongue after mock-admonishing Xavier. He propped his head up on his hand and smiled at me brightly.
"I'm sorry sirs," I emphasized the pluralization, "How may I assist you both."
"We'd like two milk teas and a kissy cookie set." Xavier pointed to the sets description on the menu.
Three sugar cookies and a cutsie pose from your maid <3
