Raiden Ei distanced herself from Langqi with a lingering fear. She touched her torn clothes on her back; fortunately, she had used Armament Haki for defense, but it hadn't covered her clothes yet, and they were cut by him.
Raiden Ei's expression was somewhat grim. This gave her a deeper understanding of combat: any flaw would give the enemy a chance for a fatal blow. In future battles, she should never underestimate her opponents' strength or let her guard down. This was a profound lesson.
Raiden Ei reflected on herself in her heart while also becoming serious, looking at the two Executive Officers with flintlocks, Kuriya, and Langqi.
Kuriya walked to Langqi's side with a giant axe in his hand and patted his shoulder with his free hand. He had only been pushed back just now, but he didn't expect five Executive Officers to die just like that, and Langqi's sneak attack had failed for the second time.
Kuriya: "Langqi... can you still fight?"
Langqi: "I can, but we have no chance. I don't know what that woman has on her; the scythe couldn't even pierce her body."
Kuriya knew in his heart that Langqi had no way out: "It's fine. As pirates, we should know such a day would come. Isn't it normal for us to be killed by others, just as we kill them?"
"I just didn't expect it to be today. We haven't even been to the Grand Line to see our dream, the One Piece."
"Now, let's fight to our heart's content, Langqi."
Langqi was also somewhat moved. This was the reason he followed him; he wouldn't back down because of danger. Many times when they encountered crises, he was the one standing in front. Even in this certain-death situation, he remained the same.
Langqi: "Captain... you are a qualified Captain."
Kuriya: "Hahaha, I am the Captain after all."
Raiden Ei looked at these two pirates who had inexplicably started laughing. Although she heard what Kuriya said, it didn't change the fact that they were a group of pirates who burned, killed, and looted. So what if they had dreams? Should she let them go because of their dreams?
Although she was an otaku before transmigrating, she was raised under the red flag with perfectly upright values, and she doesn't accept any counterarguments.
Raiden Ei held kusanagi in her hand: "If you're done talking, let's begin the third round."
Raiden Ei adjusted her mindset and held her blade with one hand, her expression serious. She had already decided to go all out to slay them and would not give them any more chances.
Kuriya, holding his giant axe, and Langqi also prepared for a life-and-death struggle. The atmosphere became extremely heavy; both sides wanted the other dead, so they held nothing back.
"Hah!"
Kuriya was the first to strike. The giant axe in his hand was like an ordinary wooden stick, swung effortlessly as he hacked toward Raiden Ei, with Langqi following behind him.
Raiden Ei naturally wouldn't back down. She charged forward and swung her blade in a heavy strike. Weapons collided, and Kuriya was sent flying back. Before she could retract her blade, Langqi lunged to her side, his scythe swinging down.
Calmly, she foresaw this scene with Observation Haki. She released her grip on the blade with her right hand, covered her hand with Armament Haki, and met the incoming scythe.
Bang!
The scythe was shattered by her fist, which then struck Langqi's chest heavily. His ribs snapped, and he was sent flying like a broken kite, crashing hard into the ship's gunwale, leaving cracks in it.
Seeing this, the sent-flying Kuriya's eyes turned blood-red. He swung his giant axe and charged forward again, hacking down at Raiden Ei.
Raiden Ei stepped back to dodge the downward chop of the giant axe and swung her blade with both hands toward Kuriya's neck.
Kuriya raised his axe to block in front of him and was once again violently knocked back.
Langqi spat out blood and stood up by leaning against the gunwale. He picked up a pirate's longsword nearby, activated his fruit ability, and rushed toward Raiden Ei.
Sensing all this with Observation Haki, Raiden Ei turned and thrust her blade toward Langqi, piercing through both him and the sword with speed and precision.
Pulling the blade out of Langqi's body, his body fell onto the deck. His injuries were severe, and he could no longer move.
Kuriya crawled out of the cabin, spitting blood. His body was only injured by the shock; at most, his internal organs were displaced, but he wasn't missing any limbs, so it wasn't a major issue.
Seeing Langqi lying half-dead on the deck with blood still flowing from his chest, Kuriya went mad. Was his brother going to die like this?
Kuriya: "Aaaaah! You bastard, die!"
Swinging his giant axe, he no longer cared about anything. As long as he could kill Raiden Ei, Kuriya rushed toward her, covering three meters in a single step.
Raiden Ei looked at the now-frenzied Kuriya and prepared to give him the final blow. She adjusted her posture, wrapped Armament Haki around the Kusanagi no Inabikari, and began to build up power.
Once Kuriya entered her attack range, her full-power strike sent his giant axe flying, leaving him exposed beneath her blade.
Nothing unexpected happened. Kuriya also fell under Raiden Ei's blade, and Langqi had already breathed his last. The battle was finally over. The fight, which lasted less than half an hour, felt longer than any day she had spent before.
Raiden Ei looked at the mess on the ship. The pirates previously knocked out by Conqueror's Haki were still unconscious. Some had died inexplicably, either hit by something or unlucky enough to be struck by the flying bodies of Kuriya and Langqi.
Raiden Ei relaxed but remained vigilant. She checked her body and found no major issues, then began to inspect the ship. The two Executive Officers with flintlocks from before had disappeared; they should still be on the ship, so she had to be careful not to fail in an easy task.
Raiden Ei walked around the ship but didn't find anything useful, only some still-unconscious pirates. She didn't know how to deal with these pirates yet. Killing them felt too cruel; she was still reluctant to kill people who had no power to fight back. But letting them go wouldn't work either, as they would only harm others. She needed to think about it.
Entering the cabin, Raiden Ei looked around as she walked, picking up anything that looked good. She even had a meal when she passed the dining room. This was the first meal she had eaten since coming to this world, which was truly pathetic. She put everything edible from the dining room into her system backpack for later.
There was a room in the cabin that completely wiped out her pity for these pirates. It was a dim room, unlike the others used for living or storing supplies.
Instead, it was a prison cell enclosed by iron bars. It was divided into two spaces, with men locked on one side and women on the other.
They wore various clothes, from ordinary hemp to luxurious garments, and all wore collar-like objects. All of this indicated that these captives were Slaves they had plundered.
