Raiden Ei did not want Sengoku to catch up; her Elemental Power circulated wildly, and her figure sped up even more. Because it was evening, the sky was gradually darkening. Two figures, one purple and one gold, streaked rapidly across the island, witnessed by many of its residents.
They all cried out in alarm, watching the lights rush toward the edge of the island from afar. But the golden light behind directly collided with the purple light. The purple light was instantly knocked down onto the island, immediately shocking them.
Raiden Ei sped along, soon to reach the seaside, but Sengoku was relentlessly pursuing her. The distance between them was not far, yet his speed was even faster than hers. Being caught was only a matter of time; for now, she could only try to stall while heading toward the sea.
Sengoku saw that Raiden Ei ahead was not far away and prepared to strike her down from the sky. Although he didn't know why a Devil Fruit User would head toward the sea, stopping her was the right thing to do. If she had some hidden move prepared by the seaside that allowed her to escape, it would be hard to explain.
Shockwaves appeared beneath the Golden Buddha's feet. He instantly closed the distance with Raiden Ei. "Palm of Light!" The Buddha's palm struck toward her, and a palm-shaped shockwave enveloped her.
Just as Raiden Ei's Observation Haki sensed the attack arriving, before she could defend, she was instantly knocked down from the sky by the invisible shockwave. "Bang!" She swung the kusanagi in her hand, carrying the lightning element, sending a slash toward Sengoku as she rapidly plummeted toward the ground.
The slash, carrying intense lightning elements, appeared before Sengoku just as he attacked Raiden Ei, forcing him to abandon his intention to continue the assault. He dared not underestimate that purple lightning.
Waving his golden arm wrapped in Armament Haki, he struck the slash aside with a "Bang." A searing wound appeared on his hand, but with his recovery ability, it would heal even if ignored.
"Bang!" Gravel and dirt flew everywhere. Raiden Ei, wielding the kusanagi, stood up from the ground. The stones on the ground could not pierce her skin; besides being shaken by the shockwave, she was otherwise unharmed.
"Hoo... I can't run away. Then I can only try to force my way through."
The kusanagi in her hand became enveloped in Armament Haki, with lightning flickering upon it. She looked at Sengoku descending from the sky, swung the kusanagi, and sent slash after slash toward him. Her figure then dashed toward the seaside again.
Sengoku saw the Raiden Ei launch a series of slashes at him before heading in another direction. Shockwaves emerged from his hands, blasting away all incoming slashes.
"You can't escape. Surrender obediently! If you do, I might show mercy."
His golden figure leaped up. His Observation Haki locked onto the direction Raiden Ei fled, and he attacked her with "Aerial Straight Strike," attempting to intercept her escaping figure once more.
Raiden Ei sensed the attack coming from behind again and felt she couldn't continue like this; otherwise, she wouldn't reach the seaside even if she exhausted all her Elemental Power. She decided to use her strongest attack to resolve the opponent in one go. Once she made up her mind, she stopped, turned, and faced the incoming attack.
"Hoo, you forced me to, Sengoku. I only wanted to leave this place, but you insisted on obstructing me time and again. Then let me let you taste the might of Musou no Hitotachi. Don't blame me if you die."
Raiden Ei exhaled, calming the turbulence in her heart. Once she decided to use her full power, she didn't intend to conserve her Elemental Power. She wanted to resolve this crisis in one strike; holding back, she feared Sengoku would still have the ability to pursue her.
She retracted the kusanagi in her hand into her system backpack, lifted her feet off the ground, and floated above it. Her clothes and hair moved without wind, and the Thousand-Armed Thousand-Eyed Wheel behind her became even more dazzling.
Seeing such an unusual sight, Sengoku had no choice but to give up the current attack, warily guarding the surroundings to prevent a sneak attack from Raiden Ei. As time passed, the danger perceived by his Observation Haki grew increasingly intense. He was startled and immediately tried to interrupt her charging, but it was too late.
"Raiden Ei, what are you trying to do!"
"Nothingness, Nor Thought."
Purple lightning materialized around Raiden Ei, becoming denser and denser, covering her entire body. The surrounding air became turbulent, and air currents swept out in all directions, stirring up sand and stones.
At this moment, everyone on the island witnessed a terrifying scene: terrifying purple lightning rising from one spot, the island itself subtly trembling, and violent air currents sweeping past them. People watched this unfold in terror, as if witnessing the destruction of the world.
Purple lightning erupted from Raiden Ei's body. The hilt of a sword emerged from her chest and slowly rose upward. When the entire hilt had surfaced before her chest,
She gripped the hilt with one hand and drew it out with a "Clang." All the surrounding purple lightning converged toward the Musou Isshin. Instantly, all the purple lightning connected to the Musou Isshin, making the blade look as if it were forged from lightning itself.
Sengoku also became unprecedentedly serious watching this scene, cold sweat dripping from his forehead. He had never expected things to escalate to this extent. It was no longer a matter of whether he wanted to capture Raiden Ei, but how to deal with this impending attack.
The oppressive feeling emanating from Raiden Ei at this moment was in no way inferior to that of the Four Emperors at sea; in fact, it was even stronger. He was already prepared to exert his utmost effort, determined to block this attack no matter what. If he failed to block it, he had no doubt he would die here today.
The golden Great Buddha still shone brightly under the purple lightning. Shockwaves continuously gathered on both palms, concentrating all his strength into this single strike, waiting tensely as he looked at her.
"Sengoku, come and see if you can withstand my full-power strike!"
"Now Is the Time of Annihilation!"
The Musou Isshin was swung out accompanied by lightning, and a world-splitting slash instantly appeared. In this dusk of the fading evening, it was like a streak of heavenly light, once again enveloping the area in radiance. However, this light brought not brightness, but destruction, slicing apart everything that stood in her path, leaving nothing behind, neither body nor spirit.
"Shwa!" Wherever the slash passed, mountains, stones, trees, and the earth were all severed. Purple lightning raged in the wake of the slash, destroying everything.
Sengoku, witnessing such a terrifying slash, fought with everything he had. He utilized his Devil Fruit ability to the extreme, releasing Observation Haki, Armament Haki, and Conqueror's Haki from his body. Conquerors Haki Infusion wrapped around the shockwave in his hands, and he thrust both hands forward violently, causing the ground beneath his feet to crack.
"Ultimate Technique: Great Palm of Light!"
"Rumble!" Shockwaves, resembling two giant palms, surged forward, crushing and pulverizing everything in their path.
