"Do you think it's possible for me not to kill you?"
Raiden Ei's voice came from beneath her mask, startling the two men whose faces drastically changed. Hearing her cold words, which left no room for negotiation, they had no doubt whatsoever.
For them, who had already been sentenced to death, they suddenly erupted in impotent rage, snarling at Raiden Ei with distorted faces: "Haven't you already gotten what you wanted? Why do you insist on killing us?"
Raiden Ei found this question somewhat amusing. She raised the demon blade she held in one hand, its blade emitting a chilling glint that made the pirates tremble. She looked at the surrounding pirates: "Oh! So pirates can also be so noble sometimes?"
"Probably not! An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, that's my mercy towards you.
Actually, I'm not qualified to judge you. I'm just a criminal wanted by the World Government and the Marine.
So there's no need for a reason to kill you. If you need one, then just say I saw you, and it made me unhappy!
Aren't all pirates like this?
I am too, actually."
The two burly men and the surrounding pirates who heard Raiden Ei speak involuntarily clenched their fists, glaring fiercely at her.
This feeling of life and death being decided by someone else's whim can truly break those experiencing it for the first time, even though pirates are often the ones who make others experience this feeling.
The more fragile-minded pirates around were already terrified, trembling non-stop, while the mentally stronger ones had already picked up their weapons, glaring fiercely at Raiden Ei, ready to fight her to the death.
"Hahaha, why is it so lively here!" Robuck walked over from a distance with his Pirate Crew in tow, an estimated fifty or more pirates.
They were all burly men with weapons, their faces grim and menacing, clearly not good people.
As Robuck spoke, he and his brothers had already approached. He scanned the surroundings, his gaze eventually falling on Raiden Ei.
He took the mace off his shoulder with one hand. Thud, the weight of the mace directly smashed a pit into the ground.
He stared at Raiden Ei, a playful smile on his face, and said teasingly, "That disgusting Sanjam couldn't have really been killed by you, could he!"
Raiden Ei thought, Just wait a bit longer! I'll deal with them all together later. To Robuck's words, she directly replied, "How about it? Do you also want to die a few times like him?"
Robuck didn't get angry; instead, he laughed: "Hahaha, the Sanjam I know wouldn't die so easily. If he could be killed that easily, I would have beaten him to death long ago."
"Isn't that right, Sanjam?"
Before Raiden Ei could speak, Sanjam crawled out of the ruins of the collapsed house. His entire body was covered with suckers unique to tentacles, and his hair, transformed into tentacles, writhed behind him as if conscious, looking terrifying.
"Hehe, how could I die just like that!"
The surrounding Octopus Pirate Crew members, seeing their Captain alive, were all incredibly excited, sweeping away their previous despondency. They looked at Sanjam with fervent eyes, almost cheering.
Raiden Ei only glanced at Sanjam, then shifted her gaze, frowning slightly, wondering where the mistake had occurred.
Sanjam was definitely dead, and not even a corpse remained. So why was he alive again? A double? A clone?
Recalling all the details from earlier, the scene finally stopped at the scattered pieces of his body. Could he regenerate from a drop of blood like in fantasy novels?
While Raiden Ei was pondering, the Vanguard Pirate Crew also arrived. Unlike Robuck, who was chatting with Sanjam, they immediately confronted him upon arrival.
Spu followed behind Fukadon, his fierce gaze directed at Sanjam. Sioni also gripped his weapon tightly; it was clear they had some sort of grudge.
Raiden Ei dismissed all her thoughts, looking at these three groups of pirates, deciding it was time to deal with them. She was quite pressed for time.
As for Sanjam's ability to regenerate from a drop of blood, that was also relatively easy to handle. There were always more solutions than problems, right? Just turn him to dust, and how would he revive then?
"Since everyone is here, let our decisive battle begin!"
Fukadon, who had just arrived, hadn't quite understood what was happening, but hearing Raiden Ei's words, he still became serious and defensive.
Sanjam immediately shouted to everyone: "Hmph, this woman is very strong. We need to work together to kill her, and she also knows the legend of Skypiea."
Robuck was also defensively holding his mace against Raiden Ei, but hearing Sanjam's words, his eyes lit up.
His hand holding the mace was a bit eager to act.
The three members of the Vanguard Pirate Crew were first shocked, then their gazes towards Raiden Ei became even more fervent, as if they wanted to devour her whole.
Raiden Ei's purple eyes narrowed. Buzz, a supremely domineering and almost tangible aura radiated from her, sweeping towards the surrounding pirates.
The pirates still glaring fiercely at Raiden Ei didn't even have time to react. As if struck by a heavy blow, they all rolled their eyes and fainted.
Within the range of the Conqueror's Haki, all the pirates, except for Sanjam and a few others with some strength, fell to the ground one by one, rolling their eyes and collapsing with a thump, thump.
Sanjam and the others were completely panicked by this sight. To take down so many pirates in an instant, was this something a human could do?
The veins on Robuck's hand holding the mace bulged. He looked angrily at Raiden Ei and roared at Sanjam: "Why did you provoke this woman? Her aura is even stronger than the Navy Vice Admirals I've encountered."
Sanjam's tentacles frantically spread outwards, coiling around the people knocked out by the Conqueror's Haki. Regardless of whose crew they belonged to, the suckers on the tentacles directly pierced their skin, drawing their blood.
Facing Robuck's roar, he wore a sinister smile, and the tentacles absorbed blood even faster. His sticky voice rang out.
"Hehe, it's just the level of a Navy Vice Admiral. If a few of us team up, we can definitely kill her. That way, we'll have found two treasures."
Fukadon's eyes seemed to be on fire as he looked at his subordinates, whose faces had turned pale as if drained of blood, with Sanjam's tentacles attached to them.
"Sanjam, stop it!"
Raiden Ei watched this scene unfold in an instant. Sanjam's actions made her speculate more about his Devil Fruit ability.
