Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: Treasure 5

Raiden Ei withdrew her consciousness from the system panel. She was in a good mood and muttered to herself, "Mm-hmm, today's haul is pretty good. If there really is treasure on the island, then it'll be a huge gain."

"So where could the treasure they mentioned be hidden?"

From the previous conversation between Sanjam and Robuck, they had clearly determined the location of the treasure, but why hadn't they taken it yet? And why were they still guarding it?

Were they unable to get it, or was there some other reason?

She could interrogate those pirates, but considering how deeply Sanjam and the others had hidden the treasure's location, it was unlikely that ordinary pirates would know anything.

Ultimately, she would have to find it herself, but for a treasure they had guarded for so long, wasting a little time was acceptable. After all, she had an advantage over Sanjam and the others: she possessed Observation Haki.

Although things observed with Observation Haki are somewhat abstract when reflected in the mind, generally, one cannot see the original appearance of things. It's like an intuition that can perceive the outside world, but this is enough.

As time passed, Raiden Ei ran across the clear blue sky, returning to Panshan Island in just five minutes.

While still in the sky, she noticed that many small Pirate Crews were gathered at the bay. People were carrying large and small boxes out of the island, all with joyful expressions.

Raiden Ei looked inland and, as she had guessed, the members of these small Pirate Crews were plundering Robuck's stronghold.

Even the strongest Pirate Crew, with all its higher-ups and elites dead, couldn't withstand a pack of hungry wolves circling, eager to snatch the fat meat delivered to their mouths.

She also noticed some pirates dragging a string of people, all tied together with ropes and being led towards the bay as Slaves.

Raiden Ei sighed. She hadn't remembered that besides the three Pirate Crews, there were also these smaller Pirate Crews here.

Did they think she had no temper and dared to provoke her? She hadn't even plundered this place yet! How could she tolerate them trying to snatch her spoils?

"Then I'll teach you a lesson! Whether you survive depends on your luck."

As Raiden Ei's cold voice fell, her Observation Haki instantly enveloped most of the island, pinpointing their locations. Conqueror's Haki surged from her body, sweeping towards them.

The pirates on the island, who were happily laughing and moving supplies, suddenly collapsed, one by one, as if struck by a blunt object, rolling their eyes and fainting.

"Plop"

They all suddenly fell to the ground, which startled the people who were tied up and dragged away as Slaves by the pirates. After realizing what happened, they fearfully prostrated themselves on the ground, not daring to even lift their heads.

Raiden Ei didn't care what would happen to these people. In the past, she might have notified the Marines, but now she was a wanted criminal herself.

Anyway, they all looked like adults, so after she cleared out the pirates, they should be able to take care of themselves.

She took out her cursed sword from her system backpack and, with several "swish, swish, swish" sounds, unleashed several slashes towards the areas where her Observation Haki detected the most pirates.

"Bang"

"Bang"

"Bang"

The slashes streaked across the sky like meteors, landing in various parts of the island, causing huge roars. Instantly, smoke and dust rose everywhere, visible across the entire island.

Raiden Ei put away her cursed sword, looked at the huge plumes of smoke rising from several distant locations, clapped her hands which weren't dirty, and said calmly, "Done! Time to find the treasure."

Her Observation Haki Swirled out, instantly finding several surviving pirates: "Found them, and they're familiar faces." Her figure quickly moved in that direction.

Three pirates were rapidly running towards the sea, holding flintlock pistols. Their clothes were dirty and disheveled, and they gasped heavily as they ran, sweat pouring down like rain.

Raiden Ei's Geppo speed was extremely fast. She directly bypassed them and landed in front of their path.

The three pirates, like startled birds, raised their weapons the moment they saw Raiden Ei's figure. Their feet acted like emergency brakes, leaving two shallow marks on the ground.

The moment they stopped and saw Raiden Ei, they were so panicked that the flesh on their faces trembled, and they could barely hold their flintlock pistols steady.

Sese swallowed, but his body still trembled uncontrollably. He struggled to lower his flintlock pistol and then turned to push down the guns of the other two pirates.

Only then did he look at Raiden Ei with trepidation, stammering, "M-milady, is there something you need?"

Raiden Ei stood not far in front of them, perceiving their every action with Observation Haki, and asked unhurriedly, "Do you know where the treasure Sanjam spoke of is hidden?"

Sweat poured from Sese's head even faster. He didn't bother to wipe it away and quickly explained, "Milady, how would we know such a thing!"

These are things only the Captain and those old, experienced crew members would know. We've only been following the Captain for two years to make a living; we truly don't know anything about the treasure.

Please let us go! We really don't know anything."

Raiden Ei felt that Sese was telling the truth; her Observation Haki didn't detect any lies from him.

This meant that ordinary crew members didn't know about it. She would have to find the two First Mates, though she didn't know if they were dead or alive now, as her Observation Haki hadn't detected any trace of them.

Raiden Ei's gaze turned to the other two pirates: "What about you two?"

They immediately shook their heads. Sese, seeing Raiden Ei questioning the other two, quickly explained, "They arrived even later than me; they're the most peripheral crew members. It's impossible for them to know anything."

Since her Observation Haki couldn't detect Sese lying, Raiden Ei didn't waste any more time here. Finding the treasure was more important, otherwise, it would be night soon.

As for Sese and the others, since they had survived the previous slashes, she didn't intend to kill them.

Killing a few defenseless people was simply too boring.

If they were Celestial Dragons, that would be another story.

Raiden Ei ignored the three and used Geppo to run to the other side of the island. She had already scanned this area several times with her Observation Haki and hadn't found anything unusual.

The treasure might be hidden underground on the other side of the island; she had to go check it out first.

"Swish"

Raiden Ei's figure was extremely fast; only a blur could be seen with the naked eye. She vanished from the three's sight in an instant.

As Sese and the other two began to move, the person had already disappeared. They breathed a sigh of relief, and without even a word, they quickly ran towards the sea.
