"Funtafun Bar," Salvar told the taxi driver.
The driver looked at him through the mirror.
"Funtafun Bar?"
"Yes. Where is it?"
The driver blinked like he was calculating whether it was worth continuing this conversation at all before finally replying, "It's... on R Street."
"Take me there."
The driver drove.
"Is it really necessary for you to visit Funtafun Bar?" the driver asked after a while.
"Yes. Very much," Salvar replied while glancing out the window.
The driver nodded and didn't ask further questions.
From the outside, Funtafun looked like nothing in particular. The afternoon sun was still hanging stubbornly in the sky, and bars needed darkness to actually look like bars. Without it, the place was just a door on a street.
Salvar pushed it open.
The first thing he saw was cleaners and mops.
The smell of yesterday's alcohol was being aggressively removed from the floor. One of the workers looked up.
"We're closed. There's a sign."
