Chapter 27 - Chapter 25

Jay's PoV

We landed in New York and checked in a hotel because Keifer was here and he insisted me to stay with him so we could rest the whole day and meet my parents tomorrow because we were so tired from the trip. (only because of the trip?🫣🤭)

We went inside the room and freshened up and went to have food, after that we went straight to bed, cuddling eachother with no space between, he was holding so tight and was not giving any gap between was and placed many kisses on my face before both of us retired to sleep.

We got up in the morning and got ready and were on our way to meet my parents, while Keifer was keeping stuffs in the trunk of the car,

J: what are you doing?

K: Just trying to impress my in-laws, I blushed when he said that.

J: They don't even know you are coming

K: That why I need extra points.

I nodded a with smile and started in the car for my parents house.

We reached after few minutes, I noticed Keifer,

J : Are you feeling nervous?

K: A little bit.

I smiled and gave him a hug,

J: Everything is going to be alright, I am with you. he smiled and hugged me back.

Then we went inside and my parents came,

M& D: come in Jay, it has been so long, she said and hugged me then they noticed Keifer and their face changed.

D: Why is he here?

J : I only insisted him to come

D: why?

J: because he is my boyfriend. Keifer kept quiet the whole conversation and his face has totally changed, he became dull when my parents said that.

I held his hands and comforted him, he pressed my hand and gave me a smile to reassure me but the smile didn't quite reach his eyes.

M&D: Jay we have to talk about something with you

J: Go on

M&D: Alone

J: Its just Keif, 

M&D: we have to discuss family matter, I got angry when she said that and shouted

J: He is my family

M&D: Okay fine, I don't you should date him 

J: What are you guys saying

M&D: Its because of him our family was in danger

J: He did not do anything, It was his father, Infact he is the one that saved us

M&D: yeah from the problem he caused. 

J: I am sorry, but I cannot leave him

M&D: You have to listen to us otherwise you will regret.
