Demon Slayers: Swordsman
Chapter 22
Three months had passed since Mitsuri decided to remain as Ren's student. After a relaxing bath, she hummed softly, feeling all the soreness in her body fade away. Her training was harsh, but the recovery always felt just as rewarding.
She walked out and sat quietly under the night sky, gazing at the moon as she closed her eyes. Slowly, she began using the breathing style she had been developing—something born from Ren's guidance and her own effort.
The door slid open, and Ren casually walked in. "Yo, my lovely, beautiful student. How's your training going?" he said as he sat beside her, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Mitsuri puffed her cheeks. "Hey, you can't just enter a girl's room like that."
Ren grinned. "Well, it's your room, so it's not a problem."
Mitsuri's mouth twitched. "Oi, don't decide that on your own."
Ren casually dropped an arm around her shoulders. "Well, you never kick me out though?"
Mitsuri froze, her face turning red instantly. Ren smirked, clearly satisfied. "Well, that's enough of an answer for me."
He straightened slightly, his tone shifting just a bit. "Now, let's start your next step of training. You can already use Total Concentration. Now you need to make it constant."
Mitsuri nodded seriously. Ren continued, "From now on, you have to maintain Total Concentration 24/7. While me and others will try to distract you."
"I'll do my best," Mitsuri said cutely, determination shining in her eyes.
Ren had to gather all his willpower not to hug her right then and there. She looked way too cute. He shook his head lightly. "Alright, your training starts now."
Mitsuri began maintaining Total Concentration, focusing deeply. Suddenly, Ren moved closer—far too close. Their faces were only inches apart, eyes locked.
Mitsuri's face burned red as she staggered back slightly. "W-what are you doing?"
Ren replied innocently, "Well, I'm trying to help. See? You stopped using Total Concentration."
"B-but—"
"Did I do something you don't like?" Ren cut her off gently.
Mitsuri covered her face and shook her head. Ren hadn't crossed any line, but the proximity was overwhelming.
Ren smiled. "Then your next task—keep looking into my eyes and maintain Total Concentration constantly."
Mitsuri hesitated, but then nodded and sat closer again. She resumed her breathing, focusing as hard as she could.
Ren leaned in once more, staring directly into her eyes. Mitsuri flushed deeply, but this time she maintained Total Concentration. Her heart pounded wildly, yet she forced her breathing to remain steady.
She could feel his breath, his gaze, the warmth in his eyes—it made her heart race uncontrollably. Her thoughts drifted somewhere she absolutely shouldn't be thinking about.
Her eyes dropped to his lips, which were just inches away. The memory of Shinobu kissing Ren flashed through her mind.
Her concentration broke instantly.
Ren tapped her forehead lightly. "Oi, you stopped Total Concentration."
Mitsuri snapped out of it. "Ah—so-sorry!"
Ren narrowed his eyes playfully. "Oh? Were you thinking about something you shouldn't?"
Mitsuri froze like she had been caught red-handed. "No-no! I wasn't! It must have been a mistake!"
Ren grinned, clearly not believing her, but let it slide. "Alright, again."
They resumed the training. This time, Mitsuri focused harder, maintaining Total Concentration as she looked into his eyes.
Ren watched her closely. Her green eyes, the small tear mole, her flushed cheeks—everything about her made her look even more beautiful.
For a moment, he wanted to kiss her. Her pink lips were right there, within reach. But he held himself back.
Soon, both of them became completely absorbed in each other. Mitsuri stopped thinking about anything else, and her breathing stabilized naturally. Without even realizing it, she maintained Total Concentration perfectly.
Just then, the door slid open again.
"He'll be here, I know that pervert too well," Shinobu said as she entered with Kanae.
Both of them froze at the scene in front of them.
Ren and Mitsuri were sitting inches apart, staring into each other's eyes like the rest of the world didn't exist.
They watched silently for a moment.
Then Shinobu's eyes sparkled mischievously. "What are you two doing?"
Both Ren and Mitsuri jolted in shock. Mitsuri lost her balance and fell forward.
Their lips met.
Time froze.
Mitsuri's mind went completely blank. I—I kissed… Ren? We're… kissing?
Ren blinked as well, caught off guard by the sudden softness against his lips.
They quickly separated. Mitsuri turned completely red, looking like she might faint at any moment.
Kanae smiled gently. "Ara, Mitsuri-chan is really bold, kissing Ren right in front of us?"
"No-no! I—I didn't—@#£!" Mitsuri was too flustered to even form proper words.
Kanae and Shinobu giggled at her reaction.
"Well, let's eat. We can talk later," Kanae said as they dragged both Ren and Mitsuri toward the dining area.
As they walked, Ren suddenly pulled Shinobu grabbed her by her waist and kissed her. Shinobu was startled but soon her hands pulled ren closer.
Both seprated panting. Ren whispered in her ears "You're the best girlfriend."
Shinobu smirked, clearly pleased, as they continued toward dinner.
Later that night, everyone returned to their rooms. Mitsuri lay on her futon, hands covering her lips.
The memory of that moment kept replaying in her mind.
"Kyaaaaa… I kissed Ren…" she buried her face into her pillow, completely red.
All night, she rolled around, blushing and mumbling to herself, unable to calm her racing heart.
Meanwhile Ren and Kocho sister were breathless from Ren's gratitude for both sisters. Kanae and Shinobu panted their breasts falling up and down. Swate covered them both as thay were completely exausted.
Ren lay in between them as both slept on his both sides. The Night was sleepless for all Four of them.
