The lively music echoing from the center of the camp drew them closer, and they found a large crowd gathered around a raised stage.
Vesper stood in the absolute center of the platform. The fire dancer had put away her burning chains and now held the attention of the entire audience with her sharp amber eyes.
She scanned the smiling faces, spotted Kai near the front of the crowd, and offered him a smirk.
"You look like a man who knows how to move," Vesper called out, pointing a slender finger directly at Kai.
"I challenge you to a dance-off right here and right now. If you win, you get a kiss."
Sera laughed out loud and nudged Kai sharply in the ribs.
"You are not going to back down from that, are you? It sounds like a very good deal for you."
Eliza crossed her arms and raised a challenging eyebrow, a playful smile resting on her lips.
"Let's see if your footwork is as good on a stage as it is in a dungeon, Kai. Do not embarrass us."
