Chapter 167 - The Weeping Bog

The march continued relentlessly across the frozen stone viaduct.

The massive, floating sky-galleons eventually faded into the gray, snowy distance behind them.

Their burning solar beams remained trapped endlessly within Kai's floating blue atmospheric singularity.

The thick, suffocating stench of burning sulfur was soon replaced by the heavy, rotting smell of stagnant water.

They had finally reached the treacherous edge of the Weeping Bog.

"This terrible stench is incredibly foul," Zara muttered, wrinkling her sun-bronzed nose in deep disgust.

"It smells like a massive grave left out in the blazing summer heat," Yena agreed, tightening her grip on her spear.

"It is a mass grave," the young Dawnguard lieutenant spoke up from his position in the front ranks.

"Lieutenant Elian, my King," the young man introduced himself quickly, bowing his head respectfully toward Kai.
