"Must everything always go your way?" she asked, her voice lowered even though the fire in her eyes refused to die.
She was still very much pissed and it was all she could do not to explode in anger as she looked at me, eyes searching even though I had no clue what she could possibly be looking for.
Signs that I was somehow a different man simply wearing Nico's skin.
Something that was impossible.
"If I let them go your way, then won't you always have your way?" I asked, fully aware of what I was doing as I let out a deep sigh before speaking again.
"I was wrong! Clearly the decorations and the insinuation of a date terrifies you. Next time, I'll leave it at just dinner," I told her watching her slowly nod her head.
"As long as we both know where we stand," she said, picking up her menu and looking through it, gesturing towards the only servant who stood by the wall and instantly approached.
