Chapter 31 - Chapter 4: Return to Academy

Months Later - Exploring the Kingdom

Over the next few months, Horobi explored various places and got to know the people. Now most people in his kingdom recognized him.

Back at Enma Residence

"Alright Mother, Father! We need to head back. Next time I return, we'll talk a lot more."

Irish looked sad. "Honny, take care of yourself. Eat and drink on time. Keep sending mails."

"Mother, I'm not a little kid anymore. Still, I'll be careful. You both take care too."

"Hmm... you both take care too."

"See you later, Mio and Liora."

"Yes Mom..."

"Bye bye."

The trio departed for the academy.

After 4 Days - Academy Return

"Ahhh finally back! I had so much fun though, right?"

"Yes! Your hometown is amazing. And you're even more powerful than I thought. Remember when you told Mr. Geri, 'Keep your eyes down. These two aren't my servants, they're my future wives'? So romantic!"

"Yeah really! My Horobi!"

"No! My Horobi!"

"Hey you two, don't start again. I'm just worried about Mahi."

"What? If you think about another girl, I'll break you."

"Yeah, don't even think."

"Hey hey, I just hope she's not in trouble. Nothing else."

"Fine, if that's true. But remember, if anything happens, it'll be bad."

"Ahh! I won't! Promise I'll be careful."

"Good."

"Phew! Saved. Classes start tomorrow. Wonder what'll happen."

"I just want Professor Raii gone," Mio said.

"He keeps separating us from Horobi."

"Yeah, he's right Mio. He does that constantly."

"Hmm!"

Next Day - Academy Courtyard

The trio entered the academy. First day of new classes, so no lectures - everyone observed their new classmates.

Suddenly commotion erupted at the main gate.

A luxurious black carriage rolled in, bearing the royal emblem.

Students whispered:

"Royal carriage...?"

"Is the prince here?"

The carriage stopped in the courtyard. Guards opened the door.

Prince Kael Dravon stepped out slowly.

Students automatically parted and bowed.

"Are that's the prince! Will he be with us again? He caused so much trouble last time," some whispered.

"Two royalties this time! This'll be fun."

Prince Kael scanned everyone.

"Listen well. My name is Prince Kael Dravon. Heir to the throne of this kingdom."

Silence fell instantly.

"One day... I will become your king."

Pause.

"So show the respect your future ruler deserves."

From afar, Horobi, Mio, and Liora watched.

Mio asked, "Do we have to respect this fool?"

Horobi smiled.

"Hmm, not really. This is a school. Everyone's equal here.

If he forces it, remind him whose territory this is.

But don't create too much trouble."

"Got it! Why Liora? You know, right?" Mio grinned mischievously.

"Yeah!"

Horobi realized they'd humiliate him. What can I do? They're the last two - actually princesses.

Prince Kael noticed Horobi's group.

"Who's the rude one ignoring me?"

He said , "Teach that fool some manners."

The guard saluted, "Yes my lord!"

But he froze seeing Horobi. Dilemma: obey prince or avoid Enma Clan conflict? He stood paralyzed.

Prince Kael approached himself.

"Hey you three! Didn't anyone teach you manners? When royalty appears, what do you do?"

"What do we do?"

"What? You don't even know? Know your place! I'm this state's prince. Show respect!"

"Oh? I thought we were all students here."

"Such audacity!"

Students gathered around, watching the confrontation.

Some troublemakers took advantage:

"Hey idiot prince, you're messing with the wrong person."

"Look, directly challenging the Enma leader!"

"Prince? You don't even know who you're facing."

"You wanna be king?"

Others defended the prince: "Shut up! He's royalty, show respect!"

Prince Kael's anger simmered.

He muttered, "Once I take leadership, we'll see."

"And who are you?"

"I'm Horobi Enma! You must be Prince Kael Dravon. Nice meeting you."

"Enma? Just a small noble clan with such arrogance?"

"Hmm! Small noble clan."

"Royalty...?"

Horobi paused.

"Then you should understand politics better."

Prince's eyebrows narrowed.

Horobi continued:

"The Enma Clan isn't just another clan.

We are royalty too."

Short pause.

"Next time... learn the difference before speaking."

Courtyard fell silent.

Prince stared at Horobi carefully, then gave a faint smile.

"Interesting. Maybe this academy won't be boring after all."

He walked away.

Mio muttered: "Blah blah... Kale Dragon?"

Horobi smiled hearing the name. "Not Dragon. Kael Dravon."

"Whoever he is, I wanted to smash his face. Nobody talks to my Horobi like that!"

Liora returned: "Did that fool leave? I thought if he kept talking, Mio would beat him. So I went to grab snacks."

"Hnhh! No problem. Next time."

"Hey you two, enough. He's already humiliated. A prince getting an answer like that? This'll be academy headline news."

"Really?"

"Come on. By the way, Oakshade village isn't far from here, right?"

"What? How dare you even ask?"

"Hey now what's wrong?"

"How dare you ask? You're thinking about that Mahi, aren't you?"

"No no!!"

"Yeah right. That girl trying to capture my Horobi. Liora, we need to investigate her. Maybe some other motive."

"Yeah you're right."

"You two are crazy. Nothing like that. Fine, not going to Oakshade."

"And don't even think we'll allow it. If you try, you're done. Etch that in your brain."

"You two lost your minds. I should run."

"Wait Horobi, you need medical room with us."
