He fell asleep while thinking and mumbling aggressively about the people of this world.
And now, he's awake, his eyes opening gradually and looking at the landscape of his room. The white curtains were dancing around the window. And with it- the shadows were dancing too. The Sunlight that was pouring into his room was contrasting against the darkness and his bed was looking like the most comfortable thing in the world..
But!! It was already 9 Am!! Past his office time! He has to Hurry!!
Arkane's eyes widened and he became wide awake when he realised this and his arms and legs flapped like A fish on the bed to procure his bag and tie and he was looking at his cupboard- but.. then.. he suddenly fell silent and and rested himself on the bed again. He sighed and looked at the calendar placed on his desk- Today was Saturday. And it was a holiday.
He smiled looking at his ceiling.. and then took his phone and checked if there was any notifications. There were none.. but suddenly his phone Vibrated and there was one now.

He looked at it- it was news-

Ruyi was calling him, which was expected.
He took the call.
[Hey!! You Kumbkaran!! Why didn't you answer my calls?! Why's your phone switched off!? Hurry and pack your things. The money problem is solved, we can go tour it today for free otherwise we would've needed our next month's savings for all of us..]
'Huh? Switched off.? Oh.. i kept it on don't disturb mode'

Ruyi sighed and told him in a calm tone:

Arkane was about to say okay.. but the call was cut off by then.
'It was such a frightening power.. to have the last words! Damn it! I had the power too but she's just too dominant. How did she even outwitted me? I'm the king of the battlefield of.. uh.. unknown i guess..? Whatever!'
He was annoyed but actually it was quite a nice experience, he never got the chance to liive a normal life.. even this wasn't the life he was supposed to live and.. call normal but it's Okay, atleast it's something similar.
He put his phone down, sighed and looked outside his window.. the street was still silent with not a single person in sight. Only the third rate thugs from his own building were sitting in the feet of the building- smoking and chatting. They weren't really thugs- they don't atleast go around and beat everyone and take thier money or scare them off. If not for the fact that they act like gangsters, they are just good children..
Children because Arkane himself was around 100 years old.. atleast his real self was! Here- he has to get a fake age now he's 26 on papers.
He turned away from the window realising that he's been staring outside for too long. Then made his way forward- towards his cupboard. Looking forward to his meeting with new people.

Sometime after, he was standing infront of his office building, the Ember Logo shining on its top. He was waiting for his Friends.. friends. And they are already in his sight coming to him after making him wait.. for around only 2 minutes! How dare they make a king wait for.. 2 minutes.
He smiled at his own joke and continued towards his friend. Ruyi yelled at him from afar without paying any attention to other people:
"HEyyy!! Here!!"
'Why the hell is she yelling!! Is she not polluting the environment by her voice!? Why's she telling everyone that I'm here? It isn't the best thing to do in a battle!'
But they weren't in a battle and Ruyi seems to have no manners altogether.
There were other people coming with her too, A petite man who was telling Ruyi to calm her excitement down a little while sweating and a man who seems to hav- huh? It was Lucas! And there's a girl holding his Hand? Why's he here and why's there a girl ? Where are Arkane's dumplings? Is he he other person who was interested in the fort ?

He reached them and suddenly got a back pat by His Team Leader. And a side glance from his girlfriend.. Lucas said:

Arkane forced out a hesitant smile and said:

And looked at the other guy who was looking like a child and nagging Ruyi about Manners or something.
The guy forced Out a Smile as if afraid to say something and hid behind Ruyi.
'Being normal is a blessing, thank the gods I'm a sane and normal person.'
Ruyi said:
"He's my little brother, don't worry he's not afraid of you. What's even scary about you? You look like a doll at best. He's just introvert. Call him Nav."
Arkane glanced at Nav, Nav seemed to have some kind of disease named introvert but that's fine.. Arkane thought wrong about the boy. You can't do something about a illness .. Arkane Said:
"Nice to meet you, Nav. I'm Arkane, tour sister's Colleague in the office. And don't worry, everything will be fine."
Nav looked confused but then Replied:
"O..oh.. Hello, I'm Nav, thank you for taking care of my sister."
Arkane thought 'The boy is ill but still knows manners! Maybe Ruyi is just the kind of spoiled brat!'
Lucas Interrupted thier Reunion and a union:
"Let's go, we can talk on the way. Or either we'll be late. There's only 1000 spots and I don't think that they'll hold out for long in a city with population this big."
