Ruvian was still hoping to hear more, especially about what happened after Alizée launched her counteroffensive. Unfortunately, with their destination already right ahead, it looked like the story would have to stop there for now.
Staring at the building in front of him, Ruvian found himself slightly surprised, not quite expecting their lodging to be this grand.
It was a four-story inn with a neat stone front and large windows facing the road. It was taller, cleaner, and clearly better maintained than most of the places they had passed.

Ruvian noticed the silver stag carved into the sign above the entrance. He could also see through the windows that the inn was already fairly busy, with servants going from table to table to clean them up.
Raising an eyebrow, Ruvian grew apprehensive as his gaze slowly shifted back toward the entrance.
'I don't like this inn.'
