Chapter 17 - Sienna and the pan.

Sienna held her hand up. "Mother-in-law, its fine."

Everyone was stunned. What was fine? Couldn't Sienna tell that Patience was deliberately airing her dirty laundry? The air that Elias had cleared up was going to stink again. This time, it was going to be worse.

The audience was loving it.

"Sienna, your livestreams are the best."

"What conditions did you make?"

"This tastes better than carrot soup."

Sienna smiled at the camera, eyes perusing over the comments. "Sorry babies, we were interrupted. Where were we?"

"Carrot soup." Ali said, licking her mouth. He wanted more. "Can I have it with meat bread?"

Patience blinked, the crying stopped. What was Sienna doing? The idiot was not playing along. She was supposed to deny the claims and then she would slap her face with the evidence while making herself out to be the loyal friend that simply wanted to protect Elias.

Sienna would be condemned, public opinion would force a divorce and the fat bitch would never show her face. She would run back to Lost born city and live in hiding forever. Then, Elias would finally look at her, Patience Murchison, and see how patient she had been, just like her name suggested.

How loyal she had been, how responsible she was and how she was the right choice for the position of Lady Veythar.

"Sienna," Patience stretched her hands to grab Sienna's legs, claws extended. If they were accidentally scratched in the process, who cared?

Before she could achieve her goal Sienna grabbed the frying pan and hit Patience on the head with it. "Are you crazy? Why are you trying to grab me with your claws?" She brought the pan down again, and again. "Do you know how many dramas I have watched? Do you know how many green tea bitches I have seen? I have waited all my life to meet someone like you just so I could teach them a lesson." She hit her again, and again, and again.

The chat counter doubled. Viewers spammed.

"Sienna, have mercy."

"The soup! The soup is about to topple over."

"Sienna, what brand of frying pan is that?"

"A non beast man beating a beast man, I am calling the enforcers."

Liman jumped in, dragging Patience away. The beast woman was bleeding from her mouth and nose.

Sienna huffed and put the pan down.

In the kitchen, silence graced the air. Everyone's eyes moved between Sienna and the bloody pan! They were in awe of what she had done.

She flipped her hair back. "What, does anyone have something to say about what I have done? Because it was self defense and you all saw it. Right?" Her hand found the pan again.

The servants gulped.

Eli tiptoed to his grandmother. Given how much the bad woman did not like him, he was worried that he would be the next victim of the pan if he annoyed her.

"Yes..." The head cook said hesitantly, looking at the Lady Cadelaria like, 'what do we do?'

Lady Cadelaria cleared her throat. "You could have handled that better but given that you were defending yourself, you reaction is reasonable."

Sienna looked at the camera. "Sorry babies, I have got to go. You got soup and drama. If you want more special content, subscribe, like and share." She ended the livestream.

The drone floated down to the counter and she sat down in a chair and took a deep breath. "My feet are killing me. How long was I standing?"

"One hour two minutes." Kroton declared.

Sienna beat her legs gently with her fist. "All I wanted to do was make some soup. I ended up becoming the subject of gossip once again. Who was that mad woman?"

The servants were blown away. How did Lady Sienna not know who Patience was? Was this a joke? Rumors were going around that Elias was divorcing her for Patience. Whenever Patience visited the house in the past, Sienna would eat a table full of food and cry before smashing things.

"That was Patience Murchison." Kroton answered eagerly. His eyes darted to the carrot soup, hoping for a taste. "Lady, should I help you dispose of the rest of the soup?"

"Pour a bowl for me and take the rest." She answered. She looked at the servants. "Go about your work, I will eat from here from here while watching a drama on my phone." The BeastNet had movies and series too. She wanted to see if they were as enjoyable as those from earth.

Servants shuffled around, her. Liman came and dragged the chair to the corner, with Sienna sitting in it.

As she settled comfortably, Ali curled into her lap and rested her head on Sienna's chest. "I am sleepy mama." she whispered.

Sienna sighed. The little one was too trusting. How long ago had it been that the original Sienna screamed at her?It was like the past had not happened at all. She touched the girl's head with one hand and ate soup with the other.

A movie on one of the wars on the beast continent started playing. The version which was told by the bird beast men. There was a version for every species and they all portrayed themselves as heroes or victims.

That same night, while the rest of the city slept, Lord Elias strolled into the Murchison compound with beast men and women that served on the Fox vanguard. The Murchison's had been expecting him and the whole family had not dared to sleep.

There were 101 people in the compound, most named Murchison and others were servants or guards.

In the living room, Bill pushed Patience forward, eager to stop Elias from unleashing his fury on them. The actions of his daughter had no doubt created a rift between their family and the Veythar's.

Timothy stood still and Elias sat down. Tension in the air was thicker than a soup pot lid.

"What did I tell you to do, Patience?" He asked.

Patience was trembling, but she still held a drop of arrogance. She believed old friendship could overcome a minor miscalculation. She stepped into the light, where her wounds could be seen. "I went to apologize and she did this to me. I..."

"Do you think of me as a fool?" Elias cut her off, bellowing into the night.

The walls rattled in fight.
