Jess urged Sienna to sit down, "Good child, I appreciate your input, but this matter is for me to decide. We wouldn't want Cadelaria resenting you anymore than she does now."
Sienna settled in her place, besides Jess, thinking that her mother-in-law's resentment did not matter anymore at this point. They would never co-exist peacefully, at most, they would settle for a life of ignoring each other. She folded her arms, waiting for the next spectacle to unfold, because this seemed far from over.
Lady Cadelaria was back to sobbing, tears streaking down her cheeks, mixing with mer make-up. She looked like a woman dressed in ghost make-up for halloween.
"How does she still have tears?" Sienna muttered her breath.
Just then, Cyra swept in through the open doors, giggling at whatever the person at the other end of her phone was saying. She was dressed in a two piece green silk suit, with a heavy, long, green fur coat for warmth. Her shoes and jewelry were mixtures of green and gold.
