Sienna took a break, as did everyone whose duty it was to listen during the sessions. Cups of coffee went around, legs were stretched, and Sienna sat her desk, flipping through the second file Mija had set before her.
Mija leaned over her shoulder, faint scales on her cheeks shimmering faintly in the light. "You will love this one," she whispered with a sly grin. "It's simple. Just a divorce request. The reason? Infidelity."
Sienna arched a brow, "Simple? If it came to this office, them nothing about it is simple."
Still, she skimmed the file. The names were familiar enough, especially the man. He was Tariq Benali, he was an actor! "He is that actor whose acting is so bad it made me smash my old phone!"
Mija chuckled.
Sienna scoffed, amused. "I had no idea he was married. No wonder the divorce came to my office, not a courtroom. In court it would be made public, but here everything is private. Invite them in." She motioned at the guards.
