Chapter 11 - part 11

Tyla was still standing in the red room,

her breathing uneven,

her eyes darting between the weapons and the files.

Suddenly-

"How did you open this room?"

She froze in place.

Slowly, she turned around...

Ian was standing behind her.

A strong shock ran through her,

as if her heart had dropped to her feet.

"I... I just..." she stammered, her mind completely blank.

He stepped closer, his eyes fixed on her.

"How?" he repeated calmly,

but his tone was sharp.

She swallowed and said quickly,

"I found a metal piece... and I tried it... I didn't expect it to work."

A brief silence fell.

He glanced around the room... then looked back at her.

"This is the guards' room," he finally said in a calm tone.

Tyla blinked in surprise.

"What?"

"The guards' weapons.

For protection only," he added quickly,

as if it were something very simple.

She looked around again, then back at him.

"Wow... you really scared me... the room looks very suspicious."

He let out a soft laugh... but it didn't sound entirely natural.

"My life isn't normal, Tyla," he said simply.

She slowly nodded.

"I think I'm starting to understand that..."

Then she left the room, still feeling something strange inside her... but she tried to ignore it.

In the living room,

her mother was sitting on the couch, thinking anxiously.

"Mom..." Tyla said as she approached.

Her mother looked up.

"Yes?"

Tyla sat beside her and said,

"I was walking around a bit... and I found a locked room.

I opened it... and there were weapons and a large desk inside... honestly, I got really scared."

She paused for a moment, then added lightly,

"For a second, I thought ian was... a killer or something..."

Her mother raised an eyebrow, then laughed softly.

"Of course there's a guards' room,

my dear. That's normal in places like this."

Tyla let out a relieved breath.

"Yeah... he said the same thing."

Her mother smiled.

"Then don't worry."

Tyla nodded, convincing herself more... or at least,

trying to.

İan stepped into the room calmly,

his eyes moving between Tyla and her mother before he spoke.

"Tyla... we found a solution."

Tyla looked up quickly.

"A solution?"

"I'm going back to South Korea... to my main house there," he said. "And you'll travel temporarily too."

Tyla froze.

"What? How? Where would we go?

This is our home... where would we go in Korea?"

Her mother spoke gently,

"Maybe we can stay at my friend's

house... she has a place in Seoul."

İan nodded.

"That's good. My main house is in Seoul too."

Her mother added,

"That's good... but Ian , what about this house?"

He replied calmly,

"This house is for work. When I have business in Singapore, I stay here."

Then he added,

"And also for protection... I'm very famous here. More than anywhere else."

Her mother nodded slowly.

"Oh... I understand."

A while later...

Tyla and her mother were sitting on the guest bed.

"Mom..." Tyla said softly.

"We don't have any clothes...

everything is at home.

I only have the dress from the charity event..."

Her mother sighed.

"Yes... I forgot. Everything is there..."

Tyla hesitated, then said,

"Let's just go back quickly, take our things, and leave."

But before she could continue-

"Of course not."

They both turned.

İan was standing at the door.

"Why?" Tyla asked.

"You're putting yourself in danger if you go back," he said firmly.

"But we don't have anything here..."

"I'll handle it," he replied.

"I'll send one of the guards. Just tell him what you need."

Tyla blinked in surprise.

Before she could answer,

her mother said,

"But we don't have money... everything is at home."

İan shook his head.

"That's not a problem.

Anything you need will be brought to you."

He looked at Tyla.

"Just tell me what you want."

Tyla smiled slightly... a mischievous idea forming in her mind.

"Alright then..."

Soon after...

She started writing a very long list

Dresses

Sportswear

Accessories

Makeup

Sneakers

Skirts

T-shirts

Pajamas

Skincare products

Luxury bags

High heels

Hair accessories

Shorts

Workout clothes

Fake nails

Hairbrush

Two phone chargers

A laptop

Books

Travel bags

...and more

Ian glanced at the list... then let

out a quiet laugh.

"Alright. I'll get all of this."

Her mother looked shocked.

"Tyla... that's too much..."

Just before he left-

"Wait, ian..."

He paused.

"What now?"

She looked slightly embarrassed.

"There's something else... but I can't say it out loud..."

He rolled his eyes playfully.

"Then write it."

She grabbed a paper and quickly wrote something,

then handed it to him.

"Don't open it."

"Alright..." he said, clearly teasing her.

After he left...

Her mother asked,

"What did you write?"

Meanwhile...

İan opened the note.

He paused... then laughed softly.

"Underwear... and sanitary pads..."

He shook his head slightly,

smiling.

"She's... cute. And strange."

Back in the room-

Tyla said shyly,

"I wrote... underwear and pads."

Her mother laughed quietly.

"That's embarrassing... but yes, we'll need those."

A few hours later...

A guard returned,

carrying many bags.

Tyla's eyes widened.

"Wow! You got everything! Thank you!"

The guard bowed respectfully and left.

She and her mother excitedly

unpacked everything-

Beautiful dresses

Makeup

Shoes

Accessories

Everything

Then they started packing their suitcases.

Meanwhile...

Ian was getting ready too.

Black hoodie

Black loose pants

Black leather jacket

Black cap

No luggage.

Because his real home... was in Korea.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

"Let's go."

They left through the back exit of the mansion quietly...

Surrounded by guards...

Two cars following them for protection.

Tyla leaned toward her mother and whispered,

"Wow... this feels so fancy... guards and protection..."

Her mother laughed softly.

"Yes... this is how life is around someone like him."

They arrived at the airport...

And boarded the plane.

Inside the plane...

Tyla sat by the window, staring at the sky.

Her thoughts were racing.

Her heart... uneasy.

"Where are we really going...?" she whispered to herself
