"We are back."
Sylvia immediately jumped onto Caelus's lap.
"You are so clingy," Caelus said with a small smile.
"Why can't I be clingy with my blood-bond?" Sylvia asked playfully. "All vampires act like this. You should see how my brother acts with his human wife."
"Human wife? Does he have a vampire one too?" Caelus asked.
"Of course. But the other vampires do not know he has a human wife. The human is his true blood-bond. If my father found out about their marriage, things would be very bad," Sylvia explained with some hesitation.
"This father of yours. What sort of bastard is he? Forcing others into marriage."
Sylvia sighed softly and patted Caelus's head.
"Why are you getting angry for me and my brother?" Sylvia smiled. "Has my Caelus fallen in love with little old me?"
She let out a small giggle.
"What do I do? An Ender has fallen in love with me. I will have no choice but to run away from my clan to protect him."
"Who knows." Caelus clicked his tongue.
