"Caelus. Get behind me." Chad gritted his teeth and spoke. "These smaller rabbits are all at level 4 or 5 as well. You will get one shot."
Chad took a deep breath.
Mana poured into him as he initiated his sword bone. Swords rapidly formed inside his body. Usually, this would have immediately killed a person. But the swords forming inside Chad turned into tiny golden particles that began fusing with his body.
In less than a second, countless swords merged with him. In the outside world, the wind blew as a golden aura crackled out of him. His muscles bulged, and his eyes turned into a literal sword.
"Don't worry, Caelus. I will keep you safe."
Caelus was stunned seeing this. He then smiled softly. Now this was a good friend, the same friend he remembered from his old life. There was no change to Chad's character at all. He would always push himself to the front of trouble for his friends. He was a man with sheer loyalty and a great personality. It was hard to hate Chad.
