On the second floor of the manor, the atmosphere in the conference hall was so relaxed that it didn't seem like they were discussing strategies for life and death.
The few Ten Dons were sitting around a long table; some held wine glasses, some held cigars, and others leaned back in their chairs with their legs crossed.
They chatted about recently acquired antique paintings and calligraphy, and which mistress was making a fuss about wanting to buy a yacht.
The four characters "Zoldyck Family" acted like a powerful sedative, completely freeing them from the terror of the past few days.
Someone even began to fantasize about how to carve up the Colton Family's territory after Leo died.
"If you ask me, there's no point in keeping that bitch alive, just—"
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Rapid knocking on the door interrupted the man.
Everyone's gaze turned to the door simultaneously.
The door was pushed open, and a lean man in a black suit walked in quickly.
He walked straight to William, leaned over to whisper in his ear, his voice very low, but in the quiet conference hall, everyone heard those few words.
"Two unidentified individuals are approaching the manor. Should we execute them on the spot?"
William's expression did not change at all.
He picked up the wine glass in front of him, took a sip, and then set it down gently.
He waved his hand, his movements casual, as if swatting away a fly.
The man in the suit nodded and turned to leave.
His leather shoes clicked sharply on the floor, quickly fading away outside the door.
Before the other six people could ask, William had already spoken.
His voice was steady, carrying a sense of calm that put people at ease.
"Two tourists got lost and wandered near the manor. I've already ordered them to be driven away."
He picked up his wine glass and raised it toward everyone.
"Everyone relax, let's continue our conversation."
The six people made an acknowledging sound and leaned back in their chairs.
Some picked up their wine glasses, some picked up their cigars, and some continued the topic that had just been interrupted.
"Where was I? Oh right, that bitch..."
Outside the manor, in front of the main gate, was an open space.
Hundreds of gang thugs were scattered around the open space; some stood on the perimeter walls, some crouched behind cover, and some hid next to vehicles.
Automatic rifles, submachine guns, and sniper rifles—all muzzles were aimed at the mountain road leading to the manor.
The bald man leading them stood in the center of the main gate, holding a modified assault rifle.
He spoke a few words into a walkie-talkie, then looked up, squinting at the two figures approaching in the distance.
"The higher-ups said to execute them on the spot."
His voice was loud, enough for everyone around to hear.
"Prepare—"
His words came to an abrupt halt.
Of those two figures, the one in white had disappeared.
The bald man's pupils constricted sharply.
His mouth hung open, and before he could issue the order, he heard a whistling sound from above.
He looked up abruptly.
In the sky, the high-hanging sun was blinding.
But right in the center of that dazzling light, a dark shadow was rapidly enlarging.
The bald man subconsciously raised his hand to block his eyes, not even noticing that the gun in his hand had dropped to the ground.
All the gang thugs looked up.
Their pupils reflected the same image—in the sun, a blurred human figure...
Leo didn't want to waste time.
A single Super Destruction Fist to let them die without pain was already the greatest mercy.
He condensed a massive amount of Nen on his right fist, like a small golden sun.
He locked onto the ground, locked onto the dense crowd, and locked onto the main manor building behind the gray walls.
He punched down.
"Boom—!!!"
The earth-shattering roar was like a meteorite crashing into the ground.
The blinding golden light exploded, instantly swallowing the entire manor.
The stone ground was ripped up, shattering in the air like paper.
Gravel, dirt, and sod were swept up by the shockwave and flew in all directions; the walls collapsed, the houses crumbled, and the trees snapped.
The outer walls collapsed like building blocks, and tiles, bricks, and glass spun, collided, and shattered in the air.
The ground trembled, and the entire valley shook.
Everything within a radius of hundreds of meters was vibrating.
Those gang thugs standing on the perimeter were blown away by the shockwave in the very first instant of the explosion, flying a dozen meters away, crashing into tree trunks and rocks, dying instantly.
Those crouching behind cover were not spared; all died under the Super Destruction Fist.
No one could stand up, and no one could run away.
The people at the center of the explosion didn't even feel anything.
Before that white light swallowed them, they had already departed.
On the second floor of the manor, the conference hall.
William was raising his wine glass, preparing to take another sip.
Just as the glass touched his lips, the entire room jolted violently, and wine spilled from the rim, splashing onto his cuffs.
"What's happening?"
Someone stood up, the chair tipping backward and crashing onto the floor with a harsh sound.
"An earthquake?"
"No, it's an explosion! There's an explosion outside!"
Several people rushed to the window simultaneously and pulled back the curtains.
The white light was blinding.
They saw nothing but white, followed by a scorching heatwave.
The glass shattered, and shards shot into the room like bullets, cutting the face of the person closest to it.
The curtains were ignited, and flames licked up the fabric.
The walls cracked, and chunks of concrete from the ceiling fell with a rustling sound.
And then—the white light swallowed them.
No one had time to scream, no one had time to run, and no one had time to regret.
The wine glass in William's hand shattered, wine and glass fragments spilling onto the floor.
His final consciousness remained in that white light, and then, there was nothing left.
The explosion lasted for over a dozen seconds.
When the explosion finally dissipated, smoke and dust slowly rose, forming a grayish-white mushroom cloud above the manor.
The manor that once stood there no longer existed.
Only a huge crater remained, the bottom still smoking, the soil baked charcoal-black by the high temperature, and the stone slabs at the edges scorched into a glass-like state, reflecting the sunlight.
Gravel, broken bricks, and twisted steel bars were scattered around the crater, like the bones left over from a giant beast's meal.
The vehicles parked in the manor, the armed personnel hidden behind the walls, and those seven Ten Dons sitting in the conference hall were all gone.
Cleanly wiped out, not even a scrap of cloth remained.
Leo walked out of the smoke and dust, his bare feet stepping on the scorched stone slabs, making faint crunching sounds.
A warm sensation came from the back of his hand.

Kalluto stood on the distant mountain road, looking at the smoking crater, then at the white figure walking out of the smoke.
Leo walked up to him and stopped.
"It's over."
Kalluto nodded; he was not surprised.
Behind them, the once-glorious manor was now nothing but a ruin and a slowly dissipating mushroom cloud.
At this moment, high in the sky not far away, a slender, winged Demonic Beast was flying rapidly toward the direction of the manor.
Standing on the back of the Demonic Beast were two people, one tall and one short, their robes flapping in the wind as they saw the dissipating mushroom cloud.
