Chapter 35 - The Gathering Storm

Morning arrived over the Kingdom of Ang.

The golden rays of the sun slowly illuminated the capital city.

For the first time in many years…

The royal palace felt alive.

Inside the palace courtyard…

Hundreds of soldiers stood in formation.

Some wore old armor.

Some carried damaged weapons.

Many of them looked inexperienced.

At the front of the training ground…

Karna stood calmly.

The Vijaya Dhanush rested on his back.

His golden Kavach and Kundal reflected the sunlight.

The soldiers whispered among themselves.

"That's our new king…"

"They say he destroyed a mountain with one arrow…"

One of the older commanders stepped forward.

He bowed respectfully.

"Your Majesty, these are the royal soldiers of Ang."

Karna studied them carefully.

Inside his mind—

'Poor discipline… weak equipment… low morale.'

This army had clearly been neglected for years.

Under corrupt leadership.

Karna stepped forward.

His voice was calm.

But strong.

"From today…"

The soldiers fell silent.

"This army will change."

He looked across the entire formation.

"A kingdom survives through the strength of its warriors."

Some soldiers straightened their posture slightly.

Others listened with growing attention.

Karna continued.

"Weak soldiers can become strong."

"Untrained warriors can become legends."

Then he pointed toward the training field.

"But only if they are willing to fight."

The soldiers looked at each other.

A spark slowly appeared in their eyes.

Suddenly—

Golden energy spread outward from Karna.

Solar King's Aura activated.

The soldiers felt it instantly.

Their bodies felt lighter.

Their minds clearer.

Their confidence stronger.

Many of them looked shocked.

Inside their minds—

'This king… is different.'

Karna turned to the commander.

"Training begins today."

Meanwhile…

Inside the palace council chamber.

Several nobles of Ang sat around a large table.

Their expressions were dark.

One of them slammed his hand on the table.

"This is unacceptable!"

Another noble nodded angrily.

"A stranger becomes king overnight."

A third noble spoke quietly.

"And he already controls the army."

The oldest noble leaned forward slowly.

His voice was cold.

"Kings who rise quickly…"

His eyes narrowed.

"Can fall just as quickly."

The others understood immediately.

A silent conspiracy began forming.

Back in the palace…

Vrinda walked through one of the ancient corridors.

She had been exploring parts of the palace since morning.

Inside her mind—

'This palace is older than I expected.'

The architecture was ancient.

Some sections clearly belonged to older dynasties.

While walking through a narrow hallway…

She noticed something strange.

A wall with unusual carvings.

Symbols of the Sun God Surya.

Vrinda frowned.

"Why would a palace wall have Surya symbols?"

Curious…

She pressed one of the carved symbols.

CLICK

The wall suddenly shifted slightly.

A hidden door slowly opened.

Vrinda's eyes widened.

Inside was a dark stone passage.

An underground chamber.

Inside her mind—

'A secret chamber… inside the royal palace?'

Meanwhile…

Far away in Hastinapur.

Inside the royal training grounds.

Dronacharya stood with his students.

The Pandavas and Kauravas trained under his watch.

A messenger suddenly arrived.

He bowed respectfully.

"Acharya Drona… I bring news."

Drona looked at him calmly.

"Speak."

The messenger continued.

"The warrior named Karna…"

The Pandavas immediately stopped training.

Arjuna's eyes sharpened.

The messenger finished his message.

"He has begun strengthening the army of Ang."

Drona remained silent.

Inside his mind—

'Karna…'

Arjuna clenched his fist slightly.

Inside his mind—

'So he truly intends to rise.'

Drona looked toward the eastern horizon.

Where the Kingdom of Ang stood.

Inside his mind—

'The future battlefield is slowly forming.'

Back in the palace of Ang…

Vrinda slowly stepped inside the hidden chamber.

Torches along the walls lit up automatically.

At the center of the room…

There stood an ancient stone pedestal.

Covered in golden inscriptions.

Symbols of the Sun God Surya.

Vrinda stared in shock.

Inside her mind—

'This chamber… was built for Karna.'

And above the pedestal…

An ancient weapon rested.

Waiting silently.
