Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

The tenth strike landed with a finality that felt like it could shatter bone, leaving Yura's backside a map of throbbing, incandescent heat. She was sobbing with a ragged, convulsive intensity that bordered on hyperventilation, her chest heaving against the wooden frame of the stocks. The fire in her skin was no longer just a surface burn; it was a deep, rhythmic pulse of blood and trauma that made every breath a struggle.

Her Master pulled her skirt down with a sharp, angry jerk, the fabric feeling like sandpaper against her sensitive skin. He didn't offer a word of comfort. Instead, he leaned over her, his presence a suffocating wall of sandalwood and cold rage. He reached out and clamped her nostrils shut with a forceful, unrelenting grip, him holding her nose shut so hard it was painful.

"I refuse to spank you again," he hissed, his voice vibrating through her skull. "If I have to come back and discipline you one more time, I will personally drag you out of this facility and discard you myself, 42. This is it. I am done."

Yura's world turned into a frantic, internal struggle for oxygen. She began to thrash violently, her wrists and neck straining against the mechanical joints as she tried to pull air around the edges of the medical-grade ballgag. The blood pounded behind her eyes, a dark, pulsing fog threatening to take her consciousness.

"You will be perfect for me from now until I say stop, or you will leave here," he continued, his demand for inhuman obedience ringing with an absolute, terrifying conviction. "Do you understand me?"

When he finally released her nose, Yura collapsed into the restraints, her lungs working in jagged, desperate gulps. She was panting through her nostrils, trying to recover even as her head swam. She couldn't speak, she couldn't see him, but she forced a frantic, repetitive nod. She moaned a soft, muffled "Yes, Sir" into the gag—a sound born of pure, primal desperation. She had nothing left, yet she knew she had to find a way to exist in the silence he demanded. He slapped her face hard, a soft whimper escaping her.

As she hung there, her body a high-tension wire of agony, the silence of the room was suddenly broken. A heavy, metallic thud echoed from the left, followed by the sound of scuffing shoes and a muffled whimper that was abruptly cut off. A moment later, another thud resonated from across the ring.

"See, 42?" her Master's voice drifted over her, now devoid of the previous rage and replaced by a cold, competitive pride. "They can't hang on like you can. Even the Blue and the Yellow are being uncoupled. They are failing the machine."

He leaned in one last time, his breath hot against the shell of her ear. "You can give me more, and I expect you to. Push yourself, for my sake. Prove that my choice wasn't a mistake."

Another heavy thud signaled the departure of the Green asset. Yura felt a sudden, frantic surge of adrenaline. Her heart beat with an excited, terrified rhythm. She realized then that her Master had been making her trial significantly harder than the others. He had used the nipple weights, the breath control, and the repeated, violent spankings—and yet, she was still in the stocks. She was being tortured more than the Sentinels and the Engineers, but she was still there.

The room grew quieter, the chorus of moans thinning out until the only sound remaining—besides the hiss of the hydraulics—was the deep, disciplined grunting of the Red asset behind her. The Sentinel was still there, her breathing a rhythmic, oceanic swell that signaled a body built for the grind.

Yura's breathing was jagged and uneven, drool pouring steadily from the corners of her mouth and soaking the leather of the ballgag. Every muscle in her legs was a column of fire, her spine felt like it was being bent over a white-hot coal, and the ache in her chest from the weights - even though they had been removed - was a constant, dragging shadow of weight. But she refused to give up. She couldn't make a single sound. If the Red fell and she was still silent, she would be the masterpiece he demanded. She focused all of her remaining energy on the darkness, holding her breath until her lungs burned, determined to outlast the strongest asset in the building and earn the right to stay in the Master's shadow.
