After an agonizing hour and a near-death experience with the plane shaking like it was about to fall apart, we finally touched down.
Another limousine was already waiting to take us to the Archer estate.
"This way, young master," one of the bodyguards said, pointing toward a shiny white Ferrari parked near the limo.
Kol frowned at the car, then glanced back at me.
"The Miss will ride with the others," the guard added, explaining why I was being separated from him. "Your father wants to see you."
My brows pulled together. We were going to the same place—I didn't see why we couldn't ride together. But Kol didn't argue.
He just turned to face me fully.
"Will you be okay?" he asked. "I'll wait for you at the—"
"I'll be fine," I cut him off.
"You sure?" He pressed. "I can force them to let you come with me…"
I snorted softly. "I can take care of myself."
