"Oh." His eyes lit up immediately. "Seriously?"
Seo Jin nodded once while eating.
"Good. I heard a lot about the first fight you had with our trainer, Kang Dae," he said.
Hearing this, Seo Jin almost wanted to carry his plate and leave. That fight was embarrassing and humiliating.
Lee Hyun suddenly leaned forward excitedly.
"Can you fight now?"
"No."
"Then what's the point?"
Seo Jin deadpanned at him.
"I've only been training for days, not years."
"That makes sense."
For some reason, talking with Lee Hyun wasn't awkward at all. Maybe because the man talked for three people at once.
"You know," Lee Hyun started again, "everybody here thought you would quit after the first few days."
Seo Jin paused slightly. "Really?" Not like he had a choice to quit.
"Yeah."
Seo Jin clicked his tongue. "Then I'm sorry to them because I did not."
Lee Hyun grinned. "Clearly."
The conversation continued easily after that.
