After a walk, Rudra returned, and when he came back, he was with Devi Ashok Sundari, Devi Aranyani and just as they entered the abode of Mahadev and Mata Parvati.
They found themselves at the front of Mata Parvati, who frowned and crossed their arms across her chest and said to them, where you.
"Did we not say that we only go for a short walk?" They looked at Devi Aranyani and said,
"Now, Aranyani, you should also go back to your realm; it's quite late. Let him sleep."
They looked with a clear questioning gaze,
"You are not planning to stay with him throughout the night. Right?"
Rudra blushes and clarifies,
"No, Mata, she wasn't thinking like that; she is going back to her realm right now. Right, Devi Aranyani." He looked at Devi Aranyani when he didn't get the answer,
Hearing the question, Devi Aranyani blushed but didn't say anything.
"Right?"
"Right... I'm Right, yes?" At the end, he could only whisper back.
"Okay, bye, I'm going to sleep." Feeling somewhat threatened, Rudra runs away after bowing to Mata Parvati.
"HA HA HA" Ashok Sundari laughed out loud, with hands on their stomach.
After running for a while, Rudra found himself in front of a room, as if the room was waiting for him. He entered and saw a bedroom with two more doors to different rooms. First, he came near the bed and jumped over it.
"It was quite a hectic day, a day filled with so much wonder. First, I encountered a space collapse, and later, I found myself in front of Mahadev and here and there, I visited quite a few places. Devi Aranyani's home, Mata Ganga's bank, my changes. I still can't believe that I look like this now." He saw his arms, his chest and muscles and was astonished to say the least.
"I can now visit the past, a time when I want to live, I can live among the gods, oh! I actually am living with them. So, do I need to visit the past? Can't I just live with them? That was all I wished for in my life: to live among the gods and fly. And now that I'm actually part of their family, is there still a need for me to go to the past and fight for survival in that time?" He stood up and went near the window. He saw the moon shining bright, the stars and the vibe that he felt here; it was quite a serene scenery.
"Should I just live here? But what about my dream of seeing the past as if I were the character in those stories? No, I can't think like this, my dream wasn't just to live with my Gods, it was to see their life up close. I am going to the past, and I am going to live to the fullest. But before I go to the past, I should train properly, because it's a matter of survival."
"There should be a tub to bathe in, here, right?" Rudra came out of his stupor and went towards.
Rudra goes to another door and opens it, but what he finds is not just a simple bathtub; he finds himself near a pond to bathe in, with smoke coming out of the water. He thought of removing his clothes, but he remembered he didn't need to.
So, he closed his eyes and thought of removing his upper body cloth, which, according to his thought, would vanish. And then he jumped in, and as the hot water touched his skin, he felt as if he was in heaven and completely relaxed.
All extra thoughts in his mind get vaporised with hot water, and he stopped overthinking. And now he could feel the call from the past, from his old self, who wanted to go in the past; it was not just because he wanted to live with gods, it was because he wanted to be part of their lives, their avatars and the stories he grew up listening to.
"Yes, finally, you got out of your idiotic thoughts, Rudra. Why should you think like this, when you know it is your dream to live in that time, and you must consider that there are quite a lot of things depending on your decision, you know?" Came a voice from the trees near the pond.
Rudra was startled for a moment, but quickly came out of it.
"Seriously, Devi Aranyani, don't you have anything else to do. Why are you here? What if Mata catches you? They already feel as if you are going to stay with me for a night." He leans back on the rock he is bathing nearby.
"And who says I'm not here to stay with you?"
saying this much, Devi Aranyani came out of their hiding place and, after making their clothes slightly comfortable to be used in the bath,
Her single-piece dress changed into one where the leg part was slit, so that her legs became slightly visible, the part near the stomach and navel became see-through, her hair loosened up a bit, and with bare feet, they entered the pond and started walking towards Rudra.
Seeing them like this, Rudra was mesmerised and completely lost himself in her beauty; she was the true embodiment of fair and beauty, and he couldn't help but fall for her.
For a few minutes, Rudra was trembling and fidgeting, but after thinking it through, he relaxed somewhat. It was not like they were naked or something. That he should feel shy or run away, feeling embarrassed.
He sighed and put his back against the stone and turned his head away from her and said,
"Why are you here again, Devi Aranyani?
And how are you even here? Is it something like an open pond?"
"Nothing, just here for a bath too, but still, why were you thinking of such useless thoughts? You do know that it is your dream to travel in past and see that time with your eyes, and now you are having second thoughts. And as for your second question, well, it is part of a forest, so I could come anytime, no? I am the goddess of the forest and the wild after all. " Devi Aranyani responded while coming closer and relaxing on the same stone too.
"Sigh... yes, it is, it's just I don't know why I thought of just relaxing and staying here. chuckles... but it's alright." Rudra stops and looks at the moon in the sky and says,
"I know, I have to go to the past and see for myself, the world of the time, to uncover the clouds over stories and epics that people have started calling myths. I want to uncover them and, with complete belief, say out loud." he stood up and raised his arm, and extended it to the sky, as if capturing the moon, and spoke.
"It is all true, God exist, trinity exist, Sanatan exist and I want to open the eyes of the world, I want them to see what I saw, what i felt, what i crave i want them to crave too, I want them to believe in it, I want them to be proud and accept their history with a proud heart. They are here watching us." He looked back at Devi Aranyani, who was looking at his face with a proud smile,
And with a smile so dazzling, he whispered to her,
It was but a whisper, but it reached the far corners of Kailash as if destiny had finally spoken, for the first time, it heard what it wanted to hear the most.
....
In the abode, Mata Parvati, who had returned, was sitting with Mahadev and Karthikeya, talking with each other, but had stopped for some time, as they could hear Rudra's doubts from miles away, not to say the least, they were this close.
They heard his monologue, his thoughts about just settling in Kailash; they weren't sad, as they would accept whatever he desired,
"He can do as he wants, it's not like we need him to go to the past now; he can go whenever he wants, if he wants to." Mata Parvati said with motherly love.
Mahadev didn't say anything and continued to observe. Karthikeya, too, was just listening and watching what he would decide. Would he decide to settle down in peace or travel to the past and decide to follow his long-held desire?
They saw how he decided to go to the bath, they saw Aranyani enter and talk with him, and they saw how he was going to make the decision, with a strong will and a strong heart.
Just then, they felt the silent hum in the air, the joy of the world, joy of every living soul at the molecular level, as if something extraordinary was going to occur, and finally they stood up as they saw him stand up and reach for the moon and heard him talk.
...
With the moon on his back and a smile on his face, Rudra finally said what the world wanted to hear the most.
"I will say to them, it is not a MYTH, it's the truth, and for that I must uncover this myth with my own eyes, for to tell the world that it's true, I need to believe it myself. So, watch me, watch me carve my own path, Devi Aranyani, for this I, Rudra, will uncover this myth by myself."
Finally, the prologue is done.
