Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Training Days 1...

After Rudra has been satisfied with the answers and the knowledge and was submerged in his understanding and finally after he was done with it...

After his lessons were completed and it was time to leave for the day..

Devi Manasa smiles and looks at Rudra properly, and comes near him and hugs him with a loving embrace...

"I am so proud of you, my little brother. So much, so proud of you."

Let's go...

...

And just like that, Rudra continued to follow his training schedule. As the days passed, he went from one lesson to another, learning something new from each of his teachers and slowly understanding the different aspects of himself. His physical training was important, his knowledge and understanding were important, but there was another part of him that needed to be trained just as deeply... his mind, his spirit and the energy that existed within him.

For that, he would continue his training with Lord Ganesha.

His earlier lessons had taught him how to restrain his thoughts, how to focus his attention and how to observe the movement of his own mind. Now, however, his training began to move deeper within himself. Through meditation, concentration and a growing awareness of his own body, Rudra slowly began learning about the seven Chakras, the centres through which different aspects of existence, energy and consciousness could manifest within a living being.

But the awakening of these Chakras was not something that could be forced. They were not powers that could simply be claimed through desire. Each Chakra had its own meaning, its own element, its own purpose and its own connection with the greater existence. And before Rudra could awaken them properly, he first had to understand them... not merely as points within his body, but as parts of himself.

And just as every living structure required a foundation before anything could be built upon it, Rudra's journey through the Chakras began from the very base.

The first Chakra was the Muladhara... the Root Chakra.

Located at the base of the spine, Muladhara represented the foundation. It was the point from which everything began, the base that carried the weight of everything above it. Without a strong foundation, nothing could remain stable, and so the first Chakra represented stability, strength, grounding and the connection between the body and the Earth itself.

Its element was Earth.

And the divine representation connected to it was Lord Ganesha himself.

For Ganesha was the beginning of every journey and the remover of obstacles, but more than that, he represented the foundation upon which the path ahead could be walked. Before moving forward, one had to first become stable. Before reaching the heavens, one had to first understand the ground beneath his feet. And before awakening the higher aspects of oneself, one had to establish a foundation strong enough to carry everything that would come after it.

And so, under the guidance of Ganesha, Rudra's first journey began with the Muladhara.

He learned to sit still, to feel the weight of his body, to become aware of the ground beneath him and slowly turn his awareness towards the deepest base of his own existence. His connection with the Earth did not appear in a single moment, nor did some great power suddenly burst forth from within him. Instead, it began slowly... like roots spreading beneath the soil.

With time, Rudra's awareness of the Chakra grew stronger, and as he continued his meditation, the energy connected with the Earth gradually began responding to him.

The second Chakra was the Svadhisthana... the Sacral Chakra.

Located near the reproductive region, Svadhisthana represented creation, birth, the continuation of life and the ability of existence to bring forth something new. And its divine representation was Lord Brahma.

Brahma was the Creator, the one who brought creation into existence and through whom new forms of life were continuously brought forth. And so, the Chakra connected with creation itself naturally stood close to the place through which life continued its journey from one generation to another.

Its element was Water.

For water represented movement, flow and the ability to create and nurture life. Life itself could not flourish without water, and just like creation, water did not remain still. It moved, adapted and continued its journey.

As Rudra continued his meditation, he began learning how to move his awareness from the foundation of the Muladhara towards the Svadhisthana. There, he would slowly begin understanding not only the meaning of creation, but also the nature of movement and flow. The energy of this Chakra would not remain separate from the foundation beneath it. Instead, just like water flowing from the Earth, it would begin to rise from the stability of the first Chakra and become the next step in Rudra's journey.

The third Chakra was the Manipura... the Solar Plexus Chakra.

Located around the navel and stomach, it represented operation, action and the force through which the living body continued to work and move forward. Its divine representation was Lord Vishnu.

Its element was Air.

For Vishnu was the operator and the force that sustained the working of existence. Creation could be brought into being, but without something to preserve it, guide it and allow it to continue functioning, that creation would eventually lose its direction.

The same was true for Rudra.

His body needed energy. His will needed strength. His actions needed purpose. And his progress required something that could transform all the potential within him into movement.

The Manipura would become the centre through which that force would slowly begin manifesting.

As the second Chakra taught him the flow of creation, the third would teach him the importance of movement and progress. Everything that existed within him... his strength, his will, his purpose and his ability to act... would gradually begin finding a centre around the energy of the Manipura.

The fourth Chakra was the Anahata... the Heart Chakra.

Located at the centre of the chest, near the heart, Anahata represented the place where the journey of the lower self and the higher self began to meet. But for Rudra, it would also carry another meaning.

Its divine representation was Mahesh... Mahadev himself.

For within destruction also existed transformation. Within anger existed power. Within the burning of what had become useless existed the possibility of creating something new.

Its element was Fire.

Fire could give warmth and light, but it could also burn and destroy. It could create and transform, yet when left without control, it could consume everything in its path. And so, the energy of the Anahata would eventually teach Rudra something deeper than merely controlling his emotions.

It would teach him how to understand them.

How anger could exist without controlling him.

How destruction could become transformation.

And how fire could burn away weakness without consuming the person who carried it.

Slowly, as Rudra's understanding grew, the energies within him would begin connecting with one another. Earth would provide the foundation. Water would bring movement and creation. The energy of operation would push him towards action and progress. And the fire within him would begin teaching him the meaning of transformation.

Above these, the next stage of his journey would bring him towards the Vishuddha... the Throat Chakra.

Located at the throat, Vishuddha represented a higher form of energy and the connection between what existed within the body and what existed beyond it. It was the point where energy could rise beyond the heavier foundations of the physical self and begin approaching something subtler.

Its divine representation was Adi Shakti.

For Shakti was energy itself. The movement behind existence. The force that allowed creation to act, live, change and continue. Without energy, even the greatest potential would remain still.

And so, the element connected with Vishuddha was Space... Ether.

Unlike Earth, Water and Fire, it could not simply be held within one's hands. It surrounded everything, yet remained beyond grasp. It was the space in which everything existed and the unseen expanse through which all energies moved.

For Rudra, whose connection with Space had already begun through his own awakening, this Chakra would hold a special importance. As his training progressed, he would slowly begin learning how to connect the Space outside himself with the Space that existed within him.

The sixth Chakra was the Ajna... the Third Eye Chakra.

Located upon the forehead, between the brows, it represented the mind, spirit, soul and the consciousness that existed both within and beyond the ordinary understanding of the physical body.

It was the Chakra of perception.

Not merely seeing with the eyes...

But understanding what could not be seen.

As Rudra progressed further in his meditation, his journey would gradually take him towards this point. The Ajna would become the place where his awareness would begin moving beyond the simple understanding of body and element. Here, he would slowly begin approaching the deeper questions of who he was, what his soul truly carried and what kind of consciousness existed beyond the limits of ordinary existence.

And above all of them stood the final Chakra.

The Sahasrara... the Crown Chakra.

Located at the very crown of the head, Sahasrara was not merely another centre of energy. It was the final gateway.

The point where the journey through the self could meet the journey towards something greater.

The point where everything below could rise and meet at the zero point... the point beyond which the individual could take the next step.

It was the gateway through which one could begin reaching towards the higher realms.

Beyond the Earthly forms.

Beyond even the forms through which Gods were understood by humanity.

For the divine did not end where the physical form ended.

The Gods who walked through creation and were worshipped through names, forms and stories were themselves connected to something far greater.

And Sahasrara was the point from which a soul could begin its journey towards that greater existence.

It was the gateway to the Supreme.

The meeting point.

The point where Rudra's journey would eventually take him beyond everything he had once believed existence to be.

But that day was still far away.

For now, Rudra was only at the beginning.

He could not reach the summit without first understanding the roots.

He could not enter the heavens while the foundation of his own existence remained unstable.

And so, Rudra continued.

Day after day...

Meditation after meditation...

Slowly learning to understand the world that existed within him.

And the first step of that journey had already begun.

Deep within the foundation of his own being...
