"Let's eat. Stop talking," Jiraiya said as he grabbed some grilled meat and started eating.

Isamu and the others also began devouring the food, while only Hiruzen sat there staring in stunned silence. In less than two minutes, all the meat on the table was gone.

"Boss, bring us another twenty portions of meat," Jiraiya immediately called out.

"What are you thinking? Twenty portions isn't enough. Boss, bring fifty portions!" Isamu was even more ruthless, ordering fifty portions right away.

Beside him, Tsunade and Orochimaru looked at Isamu in shock. Jiraiya ordering twenty portions was already normal, but fifty? Could he even eat all that?

Clearly, they had underestimated Isamu's appetite. When the seventy portions of meat arrived, they were quickly wiped out once again.

"Boss, keep them coming!" Isamu urged the barbecue restaurant owner while still chewing.

The others looked at him in disbelief. Jiraiya had already eaten his fill, while Hiruzen covered his face and muttered, "I forgot about this guy's appetite. My wallet is probably going to be empty again."

"Orochimaru, Tsunade, you've spent the whole day with Isamu. How do you feel?" Hiruzen asked his two beloved disciples.

"Hm
how should I put it? It's alright, just a little exhausting," Tsunade replied. She then told Hiruzen about everything that had happened today, with Orochimaru occasionally adding details.

"Hahaha, don't blame Isamu. That's exactly how he went through it before. I'm actually quite reassured that he's training you this way," Hiruzen said with a laugh after hearing Tsunade's story.

"Your Big Brother Isamu never attended school as a child. I only started teaching him later. Isamu is the greatest genius I have ever seen. Even the Second Hokage
I feel he wasn't his equal."

As Hiruzen recalled the past, he sighed sincerely. Fortunately, the choice he made back then had been the right one. If he had forced Isamu to turn against them, Konoha might now be facing an incredibly powerful enemy.

Hearing that Isamu had never attended school and that even her Second Grandfather might not have matched him, Tsunade's curiosity grew.

"Teacher Hiruzen, what really happened? Tell us about it," she asked.

As a fellow genius, Orochimaru was also very interested in Isamu's story.

Jiraiya had always been fascinated by anything related to the Hokage, let alone someone who might surpass one.

"Old Man, come on, tell us!" Jiraiya urged eagerly.

Seeing how interested his students were, Hiruzen recalled how the village had treated Isamu when he was young. He hesitated before finally saying, "There's nothing much to say. Just know that Isamu is very strong."

He was afraid that if he talked about it, it might remind Isamu of the unfair treatment he had received from the village. What if that caused resentment? That would be troublesome.

Seeing that Hiruzen refused to continue, the group began grumbling.

"People who only tell half the story won't find a spouse in the future."

In truth, Hiruzen was overthinking things. If Isamu had ever wanted to turn against the village, he would have done so long ago. As for Isamu himself, he wasn't paying attention to their conversation at all—he was completely focused on devouring the food in front of him.

An hour later, Isamu was finally full.

He stood outside the restaurant door, picking his teeth with a toothpick, while Hiruzen stayed behind to settle the bill with the owner.

"Boss
I didn't bring enough money today. How about I bring the rest later? Would that be alright?" Hiruzen asked apologetically. He really hadn't expected tonight's meal to not only empty his wallet but still leave him short.

"It's fine, it's fine. You can pay later. I trust you, Hokage-sama," the restaurant owner replied.

The owner knew Hiruzen personally. At first, he had considered giving the new Hokage a free meal. But after seeing the total on the bill, that thought disappeared immediately. The amount was equivalent to a month's net income. Waiving it would mean working for an entire month for nothing.

"Alright then. Thank you, Boss. I'll have someone bring the money over later," Hiruzen said before walking out.

"You're too kind. Please come again!" the owner called after him with a smile.

Outside the restaurant.

"Big Brother Hiruzen, why did it take you so long to pay? You're not even that old yet—are you already slowing down?" Isamu said with a grin.

"Yeah, Old Man, you were too slow," Jiraiya added.

Hiruzen ignored them. He simply put his now-empty wallet back into his pocket and walked away without another word.

"What's wrong with Teacher Hiruzen? He's acting strange today," Tsunade said, looking at his departing figure with confusion.

"Him? He's probably going back to mourn his money. Don't worry about it. A Hokage treating people to dinner and still acting stingy—how cheap," Isamu said bluntly.

If Hiruzen heard that, he would probably cry in the bathroom. Was he really stingy? No—it was just that Isamu ate far too much!

"Alright. Tomorrow we'll meet at the entrance of the mission hall at eight sharp to accept missions. Now go home and rest."

After saying that, Isamu disappeared from sight.

The three of them returned to their respective homes.

Tsunade, however, was still curious about Isamu. Since Hiruzen had only told them half the story, she decided to ask her grandmother instead.

Her grandmother was Senju Hashirama's wife, the princess of the Land of Whirlpools—Uzumaki Mito, the current Nine-Tails JinchĆ«riki.

Soon, Tsunade arrived at Mito's residence.

She pushed open the door and saw Uzumaki Mito sitting quietly inside the room.

"Little Tsunade, you're here. Come sit down," Mito said warmly as she welcomed her granddaughter. Whether it was Hashirama, Tobirama, or herself, they all adored Tsunade deeply.

"Grandma, no need to bother. I just wanted to ask you about someone," Tsunade said quickly, stopping Mito from preparing food. She had just eaten barbecue and couldn't eat another bite.

"Oh? Who is it? As long as they're from Konoha, I should know them. Go ahead and ask, Little Tsunade."

"Grandma
do you know about the past of Uchiha Isamu?"

Hearing that name, Mito froze for a moment.

"Little Tsunade, why are you asking about him?"

"It's nothing, I'm just curious. Grandma, do you know or not?" Tsunade asked eagerly.

After a moment, Mito nodded.

"Since you want to know, I'll tell you."

Tsunade rested her chin on her hands and listened attentively.

"If we're talking about Isamu, we have to start with his father—Uchiha Madara. Because Madara married late, he didn't have a child until your parents were already grown
"

Mito then told Tsunade the entire story of Isamu's birth and how the village had treated him.

"So that's how it was
" Tsunade said after hearing everything.

"I never expected Big Brother Isamu, who's so strong, to have such a past. Second Grandfather really went too far. Second Grandfather is a bad person."

"Alright, Little Tsunade," Mito said quickly. "Your Second Grandfather was also thinking about the village. And didn't he change later? So he's not a bad person."

Although Tobirama had been wrong in the past, he had eventually changed. And as a junior, Tsunade shouldn't casually speak ill of him—especially since he had only recently passed away.

"Okay, Grandma. I understand. I'll head home now."

After saying that, Tsunade left. Her home was right next to Mito's. Her parents, descendants of Senju Hashirama, had passed away early, leaving only a younger brother a few years younger than her.

"Alright, Little Tsunade. Be careful on the way. Come visit again."

"Got it," Tsunade said, waving as she left.

Back home, Tsunade lay awake all night thinking about Isamu.

Big Brother Isamu had grown up without parents and had been ostracized by the people of the village. She truly couldn't imagine how he had managed to come this far.
