That's right—Isamu gave Tsunade the training method for the Strength of a Hundred Technique. He had used his remaining 14,000 points, spending 10,000 to obtain it.
"T-this… this is…" Tsunade stared at the scroll in her hands, her eyes wide in shock.
"Tsunade, you have incredible talent in medical ninjutsu," Isamu said, gently patting her head. "But medical ninja usually can't fight on the front lines. With this technique, give it a few years—you'll be able to stand at the very front of the battlefield and protect yourself too."
"Th-thank you, Isamu…" Tsunade's face flushed as she lowered her head.
After that, Isamu turned to Orochimaru, who had been quietly standing to the side.
"Orochimaru… we've been together for quite a while, but I honestly don't know what kind of ninjutsu suits you best. You seem capable of learning anything."
He handed over another scroll.
"This one contains training methods for all five elemental releases, along with some combination techniques. Take your time with it."
This was the last of his points—4,000 spent on a training manual. It didn't grant abilities directly, so it was cheaper. With that, his points were completely used up.
"Th-thank you, Big Brother Isamu."
Orochimaru's earlier disappointment vanished instantly, replaced with genuine gratitude.
---
Just like that, they continued traveling while training.
What should have taken only a few days stretched into half a month.
During that time, Jiraiya finally mastered the Rasengan after a week of effort.
The others improved as well—Jiraiya and Tsunade both reached Chunin level, while Orochimaru advanced to elite Chunin.
"Ahh… we're finally almost back," Jiraiya said, grinning as the gates of Konoha came into view. "I've really missed home."
"Same here," Orochimaru said with a faint smile. "Didn't expect the trip to take this long."
"Isamu—" Tsunade paused and asked gently., do you miss Konoha?"
Over the past half month, the two had grown noticeably closer.
Isamu gave a faint, helpless smile.
"To be honest… if I had a choice, I wouldn't come back at all."
Tsunade blinked, confused.
"What? Who wouldn't want to go home?"
"…You'll understand in a moment."
He didn't explain further and simply walked toward the gate.
Because he had already seen them—
Two ANBU, wearing cat-faced masks, standing silently at the entrance.
If he wasn't mistaken… they were here for him.
---
As the group approached—
"Hey, we're ba—" Jiraiya started to greet the guards.
Before he could finish—
Whoosh!
Two iron chains shot out instantly.
They wrapped tightly around Isamu, binding him on the spot.
He didn't resist.
Not even a little.
"Uchiha Isamu. Come with us," the ANBU said coldly.
"…Alright."
He didn't argue and simply walked with them.
The ANBU were slightly surprised at how smoothly it went—but they weren't about to complain.
Behind them, Tsunade and the others froze for a second—
Then immediately reacted.
"Wait!" Tsunade stepped forward, blocking their path. "On what grounds are you arresting him?!"
Jiraiya and Orochimaru moved with her without hesitation.
"That's right—you need to give us a reason!"
To them, Isamu wasn't just a teammate—he was also their teacher.
They wouldn't just stand by and watch.
The ANBU's voice remained cold.
"We only follow orders. We don't provide explanations. If you want answers, ask the Hokage."
"Hokage?" Tsunade scoffed angrily. "We completed the mission—and went beyond it! And now you're arresting him for no reason?"
She spread her arms, refusing to move.
"I don't care what you say—you're not taking him today!"
Jiraiya and Orochimaru immediately drew their kunai, ready to fight.
The tension spiked instantly.
"If you continue obstructing us," one ANBU warned, "we have the authority to detain you as well."
"Do whatever you want!" Tsunade shot back without hesitation. "You're not taking him!"
The ANBU shifted slightly—
Preparing to act.
"Enough."
Isamu finally spoke.
"Tsunade… move aside. Don't cause trouble in the village."
"No!" Tsunade snapped. "If I move, doesn't that mean the village can just arrest people whenever it wants? I won't allow that!"
She stood her ground stubbornly.
Isamu sighed softly.
"This time… it really is my problem. The village isn't wrong."
Tsunade froze for a second.
"…What?"
"What problem could you possibly have? We did the mission together—we didn't do anything wrong!"
It was obvious—
They weren't even talking about the same thing.
Seeing that words wouldn't work, Isamu's eyes shifted.
His Sharingan activated.
In an instant—
Tsunade froze mid-sentence.
Genjutsu.
Jiraiya and Orochimaru immediately tensed.
Just as they were about to break it—
"Don't."
Isamu's voice stopped them.
"Take her aside. Don't interfere… or I'll use it on both of you too."
The two exchanged a glance—
Then quietly pulled Tsunade away.
"…Tsunade," Isamu said softly, "don't be so impulsive next time."
Then he turned—and left with the ANBU.
---
This time, the ANBU didn't even bother restraining him further.
They simply followed behind.
A man who could cast genjutsu without hand seals—even while bound—
Was not someone they wanted to provoke.
They didn't even know what he had done.
If they did—
That he had attacked a major hidden village and won—
They probably wouldn't have dared approach him at all.
---
Isamu wasn't taken to see Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Instead, he was brought straight to Konoha's prison.
Dark. Silent. Airless.
As soon as he entered, a guard stepped forward with a blindfold.
Isamu released a faint wave of killing intent.
"…Don't bother."
"If I wanted to leave, I wouldn't have come back."
"And if I did want to leave… you couldn't stop me anyway."
The guard stiffened—then quie
tly backed off.
No blindfold.
No resistance.
---
Just like that, Isamu sat alone in the prison, still bound.
Silent.
Waiting.
He already knew—
Hiruzen Sarutobi would come.
It was only a matter of time.
