Chapter 117 - Chapter 117: Susanoo vs. Three Summoned Beasts

"Gamabunta, stop messing around," Jiraiya said seriously. "I didn't summon you for fun this time—we're facing a real enemy."

"Manda, deal with the one ahead," Orochimaru added coldly.

"Hah? A 'real enemy'?" Gamabunta snorted. "Let me see what's got you so worked up."

"Orochimaru… you've grown bold," Manda hissed, glaring down. "Ordering me around? Are you tired of living?"

Despite their complaints, both summons lifted their heads and looked forward—

Then froze.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

"Jiraiya… THIS is your 'enemy'?!" Gamabunta's eyes widened.

"Orochimaru, you trying to get me killed?!" Manda roared.

Ahead of them stood a towering, hundred-meter Susanoo, radiating overwhelming pressure.

---

"Lady Tsunade… how is it him?" Katsuyu asked gently, clearly shocked. "Why is the enemy Isamu?"

"It's… complicated," Tsunade replied quietly. "But we have to stop him. Can you help me bring him back to Konoha?"

Katsuyu paused before answering honestly.

"Lady Tsunade… unless you can summon two-thirds of my main body… we don't stand a chance."

That wasn't sugarcoated.

That was reality.

Tsunade clenched her fists—but didn't back down.

"Even so… with all three of you, we might manage."

She leapt onto Katsuyu's head.

"Orochimaru. Jiraiya. We're going in."

---

The two exchanged a glance, then jumped onto their summons.

"Gamabunta… I'm counting on you."

"Tch… you owe me big after this," Gamabunta muttered, finally drawing his massive blade.

"Manda," Orochimaru said coldly, "help me win. You'll be rewarded."

"A hundred sacrifices," Manda replied instantly, eyes gleaming.

"Fine."

Now that's the difference—you get what you negotiate.

---

From afar, Isamu watched them with a faint smile.

"The legendary trio summons… now that's interesting."

Inside Susanoo, two massive blades formed in its hands.

"Let's see which side is stronger."

"Come."

---

"Gamabunta—go!"

With a powerful leap, Gamabunta shot forward, blade raised.

"Manda!"

Like a released spring, Manda launched himself just as fast from below.

"Tsunade, we're moving too," Katsuyu said—but its speed was clearly slower.

Doesn't matter.

Its strength isn't speed—it's support and corrosion.

Its body swelled slightly, acid ready to fire at any moment.

---

"Come!"

CLANG!!!

The clash between Gamabunta's blade and Susanoo's sword shook the battlefield.

But the difference showed immediately.

Gamabunta was forced to halt mid-charge, struggling to hold ground.

Raw strength?

He was losing.

---

Then—

"Got you."

Manda's tail wrapped around Susanoo's leg.

"Fall!"

With a violent pull—

BOOM!

The massive Susanoo stumbled backward and dropped to the ground.

Isamu smirked.

"Not bad… didn't expect that."

---

"Tsunade—now!"

"Katsuyu!"

"Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid!"

A massive wave of corrosive acid blasted forward, completely engulfing Susanoo.

Steam hissed.

Armor melted.

The giant form began dissolving.

"Did we get him?" Jiraiya asked.

"…Not sure," Orochimaru narrowed his eyes.

Tsunade stayed silent.

She knew better.

---

Then—

"Hahahaha!"

Isamu's laughter echoed from within the acid.

"Now THIS is a fight."

Power surged.

The Mangekyō spun violently.

BOOM!!!

The acid was blasted away instantly.

The damaged Susanoo regenerated—and then evolved.

Another pair of arms.

Another face.

A more complete, more terrifying form.

"Let me return the favor."

---

SLASH—!!!

A massive cross-shaped blade wave shot forward.

"Dodge!" Orochimaru shouted.

Both Gamabunta and Manda leapt aside.

Behind them—

BOOM!!!

A distant mountain was erased.

Not damaged.

Gone.

---

That's the level you're dealing with.

No tricks. No mercy. Pure overwhelming power.

---

Before they could recover—

Isamu moved again.

He grabbed Katsuyu.

"Let's see if you can regenerate after this."

Susanoo's arms pulled—

Trying to tear it apart.

"Tsunade!" Jiraiya shouted.

But she reacted instantly.

Katsuyu split into countless smaller bodies, slipping free.

The pieces scattered—then regrouped at a distance.

Reforming.

Tsunade landed safely.

---

"Interesting… division ability," Isamu muttered, genuinely curious.

---

Tsunade regrouped with the others.

"What now?" Jiraiya asked bluntly. "We can't keep this up."

She didn't answer immediately.

Because deep down—she knew.

They weren't winning this.

"Orochimaru," Jiraiya said, quieter now, "we stall?"

"Yeah," Orochimaru nodded. "Until the main force arrives."

Not heroic.

Not flashy.

Just survival.

---

They attacked again.

But this time—

The gap showed clearly.

CLANG!

Gamabunta was knocked back instantly.

BOOM!

Manda tried to ambush—only to be stomped down.

"AAARGH!!"

Then—

Isamu grabbed Manda by the tail.

Swung him—

And hurled him straight into Katsuyu.

CRASH!!!

Both summons went flying.

---

Same strategy.

Completely different outcome.

That's what happens when your opponent adapts faster than you.

---

"Jiraiya! Stop watching and DO something!" Gamabunta snapped.

"Yeah, yeah—I've got it!" Jiraiya hurried to form seals.

"Manda, don't slack!" Orochimaru shouted.

"Shut up! You want me dead without paying?!" Manda hissed back.

Even now—they're still arguing.

---

Meanwhile—

"Lady Tsunade, are you alright?" Katsuyu asked softly.

"I'm fine… you?"

"I'm fine too."

Small fragments of Katsuyu moved across Tsunade's body—quietly restoring her chakra.

That's the difference.

Support. Stability. Trust.

Not just power.

---

And standing across from them—

Isamu watched calmly.

Unshaken.

Unhurried.

Like a storm that hasn't even gotten serious yet.

If they don't change something fast…

This fight isn't going to last much longer.
