Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 Living well together as the three of us is more important than anything else.

Until the celebration ended, Aurora never saw Blue Blood Prince again. Her parents also dismissed it lightly, saying the matter was over and that Aurora didn't need to worry about it.

The Shimmering family wasn't to be trifled with in Central City; getting rid of a mere Blue Blood Prince didn't take much effort.

Furthermore, although Blue Blood Prince was a bit arrogant, he wasn't bad at heart and didn't hold grudges; it was just a failed social interaction that no one would take to heart.

On the way back, Aurora saw from afar that the lights were still on in her The House of Academic Studies, and her mood immediately brightened.

Aster and Meteora didn't say anything upon seeing her like this and dropped Aurora off midway, only reminding her not to stay out too late and suggesting that she could invite her friends over to their home when she had time.

Aurora rarely mentioned Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle to her parents; on one hand, she was often busy with her studies and away from home, and on the other, her relationship with Sunset Shimmer hadn't started off very smoothly.

The incident where she and Sunset Shimmer had fought in the park had actually made it into the Canterlot gossip newspapers, and Meteora had seen it. Aurora still remembered Meteora asking her with a worried face if she was being bullied at school.

This doting mother was so worried that she lost her composure and had almost wanted to help Aurora transfer to another Central City Academy. That was the school from which Shining Armor and Princess Cadance had graduated.

Although Central City Academy wasn't founded by Celestia, it was still quite good, and most of Equestria's political councilors or other public officials had come from there.

But Aurora had decided from the moment she was born to focus solely on studying magic, and she really had no interest in an official position in Equestria. As the saying goes, expertise is key; for the best in magic technology, one had to choose the Central City Vocational School of Magic... she meant the School for Gifted Unicorns.

Aurora had coaxed her mother all night before she finally felt at ease. Aurora had never mentioned this to any pony.

I've digressed a bit.

Seeing that her parents accepted her friends, Aurora felt happy, which was no less than receiving their approval herself.

She took off her formal dress, said goodbye to her parents, and ran lightly toward the house.

However, as she got closer to the house, she gradually sensed that something was wrong.

Because her sensitive pony nose caught a whiff of smoke wafting from inside, clearly the smell of burnt plant fibers. And besides the furniture, the house was filled mostly with books; it was self-evident what had caught fire.

Oh no!

Aurora's expression stiffened, her pace slowed, and she finally stopped at the door.

At this moment, she had vaguely guessed what had happened inside and couldn't help but prepare for the worst.

'Here it comes! This kind of dramatic, cliché accident that suddenly happens at a critical moment to test the friendship between ponies is a classic, forced plot device in my little pony episodes; it's unavoidable.'

Even at a time like this, Aurora was still in the mood to make a sarcastic remark. This was because she had run home full of anticipation, only to be greeted by such a blow, leaving her both amused and exasperated.
