Speed o Sound Sonic flickered in and out of sight, launching shuriken from impossible angles. Sol deflected every single one with ease, using his fingertips, elbows, even the loose edge of his clothing, sending them clattering harmlessly to the ground.
At the breach, Gouketsu stood still, caught between advancing and retreating.
Far below, Psykos watched through Gyoro Gyoro, tension tightening in her chest. Sol's strength was beyond anything she had calculated, and things were slipping away from her plan.
"He's reckless, but far too strong," she muttered, the massive eye fixed on the battlefield.
Suddenly, a low level monster stumbled into the underground control room, panic written all over his face.
"Lord Gyoro Gyoro, this is bad. The teams sent to attack the Z City power station and communication hub were ambushed. Heavy losses. The Hero Association was ready."
Psykos felt her heart drop. She controlled Gyoro Gyoro and snapped, "Explain. Was our information leaked?"
"I do not know. They anticipated everything. Almost all forces are gone, only the cadres survived. The Association's elites are heading for the stadium."
A chill ran through her. The entire plan had been exposed. If Sol and Gouketsu were trapped here and surrounded, the outcome would be disastrous.
She needed to pull them out immediately.
Through Gyoro Gyoro's vision, Sol moved fluidly, forcing Bang, Garou, and Atomic Samurai back in the same instant, his posture relaxed, almost casual.
"Sol, Gouketsu," Psykos transmitted urgently, compressing her voice into a narrow signal, "The plan is compromised. Reinforcements are coming. Retreat immediately."
Her warning disappeared into the chaos of battle and the roar of the crowd.
Sol showed no reaction. As he deflected Flash's kick, his gaze drifted briefly toward Gyoro Gyoro's hidden position. His fingertip twitched ever so slightly.
Tatsumaki caught it.
In the middle of her fight, her eyes sharpened. She followed his line of sight and instantly sensed the faint monster energy hidden in the shadows.
"What is that?"
Her psychic power surged, locking onto the floating eyeball and crushing it from afar.
In the control room, Psykos gasped as her connection was severed. The last thing she saw was a burst of green psychic force swallowing Gyoro Gyoro whole.
She jerked back, clutching her head as pain shot through her mind.
"That annoying brat," she hissed, though unease lingered beneath her anger.
Tatsumaki's precision and power had far exceeded her expectations.
Back in the stadium, Gouketsu's massive frame tensed. He stepped forward, the ground cracking under his weight.
"Sol," he roared, voice cutting through the noise, "The situation has changed. We must retreat."
Sol redirected Garou's charge with a slight movement and slipped past Atomic Samurai's broken blade without effort.
Hearing Gouketsu, he remained composed. With a small shift, he nudged Atomic Samurai forward, sending him crashing straight into Garou.
Bang's voice cut in, steady and sharp. "It seems your plan is falling apart."
Sol blocked Metal Bat's swing and used the force to leap back, creating distance. His eyes swept over the stadium, catching the distant sirens and shifting energy outside.
"It looks like the warm up is over," he said.
"Trying to leave?" Atomic Samurai steadied himself, raising his broken blade.
"You will not get away," Flash shot forward, a blur of speed.
Tatsumaki rose higher, psychic energy gathering into a massive invisible force that pressed down on Sol.
"Stay right there."
The pressure fell like a crushing wave. The audience froze, breath caught in fear, while several S Class heroes moved to cut off every escape.
Sol simply lifted his gaze.
Blue and red patterns beneath his skin lit up, and an unseen force expanded outward.
Tatsumaki's psychic grip stopped mid air, trembling as if it had hit a solid barrier, then shattered piece by piece.
Her eyes widened.
At the same time, every incoming attack, Atomic Samurai's blade, Flash's strike, Metal Bat's swing, Garou's assault, was repelled instantly, as though Sol stood within an untouchable domain.
"I do not have time for this," Sol said.
He shifted slightly, scanning the arena.
Bang froze, shock flickering across his face. The presence coming from Sol now was completely different, deeper and far more dangerous.
Sol turned fully toward Tatsumaki's overwhelming psychic force and drew in a breath.
The blue and red markings across his body glowed brighter, like opposing forces colliding beneath his skin.
He threw a single punch.
The air collapsed along its path. Tatsumaki's full power attack vanished instantly, erased without resistance.
The force continued forward, brushing past her and striking the dome behind.
There was no explosion, no sound.
The structure simply disintegrated, leaving a clean gap that revealed the sky beyond.
Silence filled the stadium.
Everyone stared, unable to process what they had just witnessed. Even Tatsumaki hovered in place, eyes wide, her expression momentarily blank.
Sol was already gone.
Only the stunned heroes, the fleeing Gouketsu, and the massive opening in the dome remained.
Outside, Sol moved through the chaos of Z City at what looked like a normal pace. Yet each step carried him dozens of meters forward. Even at full speed, Gouketsu struggled to keep up.
Soon, they entered a deserted industrial district. Empty factories loomed overhead, shadows stretching across silent streets.
Gouketsu finally relaxed slightly and caught up.
"Lord Sol, about Gyoro Gyoro…"
"Does this place work as your burial ground?"
Gouketsu stopped.
Sol had halted ahead of him and slowly turned around.
The ease from before was gone. His scarlet eyes held nothing but cold indifference.
