Black Sperm's countless small heads glanced at one another before merging into a single main body. In a subdued tone, it replied, "Since it's Master Sol's command, we'll keep an eye on things. As long as those heroes don't interfere, we won't go out of our way."
Ugly President pursed his large lips, his tiny eyes sneaking a glance at Sol, only to meet those deep crimson eyes that seemed impossible to read.
His bloated body shuddered, and he hurriedly forced out a flattering smile. "Hehe, exactly! I'll go wherever Master Sol tells me. I won't act recklessly." He rubbed his hands together, looking completely obedient.
Gums let out gurgling noises, its enormous mouth opening and closing as thick saliva dripped faster. It struggled to express agreement but could only produce unclear sounds, growing more restless before finally nodding its massive head with force.
"Woof woof!" Pochi barked twice, wagging its tail slightly in submission.
Psykos controlled Gyoro Gyoro, the giant eyeball turning with absolute respect. "Master Sol's decision is wise. The Monster Association will follow it completely."
However, not every executive was convinced, especially those who had never been properly dealt with by Sol.
A sinister voice echoed from the shadows, carrying dissatisfaction and challenge. "Hmph. 'Don't harm heroes'? So we just hold back and wait to be surrounded by those hypocrites?"
The speaker was Elder Centipede. Its massive segmented body shifted in the darkness, countless compound eyes glinting with cold hostility. Ancient and powerful, it clearly disliked Sol's sudden rule and these restrictions.
Almost at the same time, another sharp voice cut in, filled with aggression. "Exactly! Fighting should be exciting! If we're restricted, what's the point? I'll crush any hero I see!"
Hellfire Flame spoke with blazing intensity, while Gale Wind stood beside him, silent but clearly in agreement, releasing a cold snort.
The atmosphere in the control room tightened instantly.
Sol's gaze swept across Elder Centipede, Hellfire Flame, and Gale Wind. It was not sharp, yet it carried a crushing weight, like an invisible mountain pressing down.
The air itself seemed to freeze.
Black Sperm's many faces turned toward the three dissenters with interest. Ugly President subtly stepped back. Even Gums stopped moving, its mouth hanging open.
"Oh?" Sol spoke softly, yet his voice reached every corner. "You have objections?"
Elder Centipede's body shifted uneasily, its eyes flickering, but it still forced out a response. "I'm stating facts. Real combat requires full effort. Restrictions will only get us killed."
Hellfire Flame's fire surged. "If we fight, we fight properly!"
Gale Wind remained silent, but the air around him began to stir.
Sol stepped forward.
With a single step, the floor trembled.
An overwhelming pressure spread from him, not just power, but something deeper, something rooted in existence itself.
The three executives felt their breathing tighten.
Then, Sol vanished.
When he appeared again, he stood atop Elder Centipede's massive body.
No one saw how.
"Do you think," Sol said from above, his tone steady, "my command is flawed?"
He lifted his foot slightly, then brought it down.
A sharp cracking sound echoed.
Elder Centipede's nearly indestructible shell split with web-like fractures where Sol stepped.
Its enormous body slammed into the ground with a thunderous crash, shaking the entire room.
A shriek of pain escaped it, its countless eyes filled with shock.
It had not even seen the attack.
Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind reacted instinctively, preparing to strike.
But Sol looked at them.
No movement. No words.
Just a glance.
Hellfire Flame's fire flickered wildly before dying down, as if crushed by an unseen force. A chilling sensation gripped him, freezing his thoughts.
Gale Wind fared worse. The currents around him vanished, and his body locked in place, unable to move.
Those crimson eyes seemed to see through him completely, shaking him to his core.
Sol stepped down from Elder Centipede's body, each step making it twitch.
He stopped in front of Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind.
"Now," he asked, "any objections?"
Hellfire Flame swallowed, his flames gone. He lowered his head, voice dry. "No… no objections, Master Sol."
Gale Wind could only shake his head repeatedly.
Sol then looked at Elder Centipede, which struggled to lift part of its body.
All arrogance had vanished, replaced with fear. "Yes… Master…"
"I've always believed in persuading others with virtue," Sol said, placing slight emphasis on the word "virtue." "Does anyone else have questions about the plan?"
"You can speak freely."
Silence filled the room.
The pressure faded just as quickly as it had appeared.
Every executive exhaled quietly, as if escaping deep water, their backs damp with cold sweat.
Their respect for Sol deepened.
"Good," Sol said, as though nothing significant had happened. "Gyoro Gyoro, prepare a detailed attack plan, including targets and restricted zones. Gouketsu and Black Sperm, organize combat units. The rest of you, carry out your roles and wait for further instructions."
"Yes, Master Sol!"
This time, the response was unified.
