Chapter 323 - 323: Sukuna's Fury Falls on Jogo

Jogo was completely frozen.

It stared with its single wide eye as the immensely powerful King of Curses lay pinned to the ground like a dead dog, enduring the most primitive and merciless beating imaginable. Even his ability to switch consciousness, his final escape, had been completely cut off.

This was nothing like the glorious return of the king Jogo had envisioned.

This was hell.

After what felt like an eternity, Sol finally stopped.

He slowly straightened up and released his grip.

Sukuna lay sprawled at the bottom of the massive crater, his body limp, with barely a single bone left intact. The black markings across his body had faded until they were almost invisible, and only the faint rise and fall of his chest proved he was still alive.

The arrogance and fury that had filled his crimson eyes were gone, replaced by unmistakable fear and the hollow disbelief of someone who had been completely overwhelmed.

Sol casually brushed imaginary blood from his hands before shifting his gaze toward Jogo.

Jogo's enormous eye instantly contracted, and its Cursed Energy nearly collapsed from sheer terror.

"Now," Sol said evenly, his voice carrying unquestionable authority, "your opponent is awake. Don't make me tell you a third time."

As soon as the words left his mouth, his figure blurred, melting into the air before disappearing completely.

Silence returned.

Only the devastated battlefield remained, Sukuna motionless in the crater, and Jogo standing there, so terrified it could barely think.

Jogo remained frozen for nearly ten seconds before cautiously moving its eye.

It looked toward the place where Sol had vanished, then back at the broken figure lying in the crater.

Its eye glistened with tears and utter confusion.

What was it supposed to do now?

Fight?

Fight Sukuna in that condition?

Slowly and carefully, it shuffled to the edge of the crater and peered inside.

"Suk... Lord Sukuna?" it whispered hesitantly. "Can... can you still fight?"

The broken body suddenly twitched.

A series of harsh cracking sounds echoed through the ruined landscape as shattered bones forcibly realigned and reconnected.

Weak but unmistakable Cursed Energy began flowing from Sukuna's body once more, like dying embers reigniting into flame.

The black markings gradually spread across his skin again, restoring themselves with relentless persistence.

Jogo watched without blinking.

Reverse Cursed Technique.

Sukuna was healing himself.

A violent gasp escaped Sukuna as his chest rose sharply. He doubled over, coughing violently before spitting several mouthfuls of dark, clotted blood onto the ground.

Using both hands for support, he slowly forced himself upright.

After several unsteady moments, he finally stood.

The bruises and wounds covering his body rapidly disappeared, yet the expression in his crimson eyes grew even more terrifying.

The arrogance was gone.

What remained was pure, suffocating savagery, forced beneath absolute control.

He slowly rolled his newly restored neck.

Click.

His gaze, overflowing with murderous intent and unbearable humiliation, settled on the only figure standing above him.

Jogo.

Jogo felt its Cursed Energy freeze beneath that stare.

"Suk... Sukuna..." it stammered, desperately trying to sound concerned.

Sukuna didn't answer.

Instead, he slowly bared his teeth in a smile so twisted it sent chills through the air.

The next instant...

"Dismantle."

His cold voice echoed across the battlefield.

An invisible slash swept forward.

Jogo never saw the attack.

It only felt a cold sensation across its head before a chunk of volcanic rock from the top of its head slid cleanly to the ground.

"Lord Sukuna! I'm a Cursed Spirit!" Jogo cried in panic, hoping to appeal to what little reason remained.

It received no mercy.

Sukuna's crimson eyes only grew darker with destructive intent.

The overwhelming humiliation and agony he had suffered demanded release.

And the Special Grade Cursed Spirit standing before him had become the perfect target.

"Too noisy," Sukuna said coldly.

"Scum."

Without even forming a hand sign, he raised one hand.

"Cleave."

A far more powerful barrage of invisible slashes erupted.

Jogo desperately poured out its Cursed Energy.

Magma exploded from its body while blazing flames surged outward, forming layers of defense.

They were meaningless.

The flames were effortlessly torn apart.

The magma was sliced open as though it didn't exist.

Deep wounds instantly spread across Jogo's massive body, and scorching Cursed Spirit blood sprayed across the battlefield, hissing as it corroded the surrounding ground.

"W... Why?!" Jogo screamed in agony.

Its lone eye was filled with confusion and despair.

It couldn't understand why the King of Curses it had worked so hard to revive was now trying to kill it.

Sukuna ignored every word.

His body vanished.

In the next instant, he appeared directly in front of Jogo.

His fist, marked with black curse patterns and reinforced by terrifying physical strength, crashed straight into Jogo's eye.

Bang!

Jogo's head snapped backward, its eyeball bulging as unbearable pain tore through its body.

But that was only the beginning.

Sukuna attacked without pause.

His fists, kicks, elbows, and knees became relentless weapons as he unleashed every ounce of rage upon Jogo.

There were no elaborate techniques.

No dazzling displays of cursed power.

Only brutal physical blows, the sickening sounds of impact, and bones shattering under overwhelming force.

Jogo struggled to fight back.

The flames it unleashed were casually slapped aside.

Its condensed magma fists were crushed with ease.

The overwhelming strength it had always taken pride in as a Special Grade Cursed Spirit was utterly insignificant before a fully restored Sukuna.

This wasn't a battle.

It was a one-sided outburst of rage and relentless punishment.
