Sol did not answer.
He remained where he stood, as though he had never moved.
Slowly, he lifted his gaze toward Sukuna, who sat upon the shrine at the center of the domain.
"You talk too much," Sol said.
His voice was steady and composed, yet it carried an invisible pressure that instantly overwhelmed the domain's rampant killing intent and the violent roar of Cursed Energy.
The wild grin on Sukuna's face froze before twisting into something even more sinister.
All four of his arms moved at once.
The careless slashes from moments ago disappeared. In their place came attacks embodying the core laws of Malevolent Shrine, guaranteed strikes meant to kill.
Countless invisible slashes descended from every conceivable angle, above, below, left, right, front, and behind, weaving an inescapable net around Sol.
Within the domain, this was absolute law.
No one could evade it.
No one could block it.
Yet Sol simply raised his right hand.
With his index finger, he casually traced a line through the air.
There was no surge of Cursed Energy.
No distortion of space.
As the countless domain slashes closed to within a foot of him, they silently shattered.
The attacks dissolved as though they had struck an invisible barrier beyond their ability to overcome, breaking apart into the most basic Cursed Energy particles without so much as disturbing the hem of Sol's clothing.
For the first time, Malevolent Shrine's guaranteed hit failed.
Sukuna's pupils contracted sharply.
Even the massive shrine behind him trembled.
"How is this possible?!"
Disbelief filled his voice.
His domain.
His rules.
They had been ignored as though they meant nothing.
"Rules only restrain the weak," Sol replied indifferently.
He took a single step forward.
The ground beneath his feet, covered with white bones and twisted corpses, cracked apart and collapsed as if unable to support even that simple movement.
Ignoring the domain's suppression and the laws governing its space, Sol walked toward the shrine with the ease of someone strolling down an ordinary street.
Step by step, he advanced.
With every step, Sukuna felt the authority of Malevolent Shrine weaken.
It was as though the domain itself instinctively feared the presence of the man walking through it.
"Cheap tricks!"
Sukuna roared in fury.
His four arms moved wildly, unleashing an even denser storm of slashes while repeatedly invoking Dismantle's lethal judgment.
It accomplished nothing.
Every attack collapsed into nothingness before reaching Sol.
Sol never bothered taking a defensive stance.
He simply kept walking.
At last, he arrived beneath the shrine.
Looking up at Sukuna, he spoke three simple words.
"Get down."
There was no roar.
No threat.
Just a quiet command.
Yet Sukuna felt something deep within his soul tremble.
It was as though an unquestionable order had descended from an existence beyond resistance.
He roared and struggled against it.
His body ignored him.
Unable to resist, he was ripped from the shrine and slammed violently into the skeletal ground below.
Boom!
The entire Malevolent Shrine shook violently.
Cracks spread across the dark crimson sky as though the domain itself was on the verge of collapse.
Sukuna forced himself back to his feet.
His face was twisted with humiliation, rage, and unmistakable fear.
Sol stood before him, looking down without the slightest change in expression.
"Game over."
He raised one hand.
His fingers spread slightly before pressing downward.
An indescribable force descended upon Sukuna.
It felt as though the entire sky had collapsed onto his back.
"Argh!"
His scream echoed through the domain.
Completely unable to resist, Sukuna was crushed back into the ground.
His face slammed into the cold pile of bones beneath him while every bone in his body groaned under the crushing pressure, threatening to break apart.
He struggled desperately.
His Cursed Energy erupted in a violent surge.
It accomplished nothing.
Like an ant trying to move a mountain, he could not even lift a single finger.
Malevolent Shrine began flickering uncontrollably.
Its light faded and returned in rapid succession before the entire domain released a mournful cry.
Then it shattered.
Countless fragments scattered through the air like broken glass before disappearing completely.
The surroundings instantly returned to the ruined crater in Shibuya.
The gloomy night sky remained overhead.
The suffocating pressure of the domain was gone.
Sukuna lay pinned to the ground, completely unable to move.
Only his ragged breathing proved he was still conscious.
Sol lowered his hand.
The overwhelming pressure vanished with the movement.
Even so, Sukuna did not dare move.
The absolute difference in strength had shattered every thought of resistance, leaving only deep rooted fear.
Sol shifted his gaze toward Megumi Fushiguro, who stood anxiously near the edge of the crater.
He then sensed the approaching presences of Nanami and the others rushing toward the battlefield after noticing the disappearance of the domain.
Finally, his eyes returned to Sukuna, who remained sprawled across the ground like a beaten dog.
"You've had your fun. It's time to return the body to its rightful owner."
Sukuna's body trembled violently.
Defiance flashed briefly through his crimson eyes.
But the moment he met Sol's unwavering dark red gaze, every trace of resistance disappeared.
Grinding his teeth, he finally yielded.
The black markings covering Itadori Yuji's body rapidly faded like a receding tide.
His crimson eyes slowly closed.
When they opened again, they had returned to their natural amber color, filled with confusion, exhaustion, and lingering fear.
"I... what..."
Yuji pushed himself upright with obvious difficulty.
His body ached as he looked around at the devastated battlefield, then at Sol standing nearby, and finally at Megumi Fushiguro hurrying toward them.
"What happened? Sukuna... he..."
"Temporarily dealt with," Sol answered simply. "How do you feel?"
"My whole body hurts, like it was torn apart and stitched back together."
Yuji winced as he rolled his shoulders before looking at Sol with a complicated expression.
"Sol... it was you. You defeated Sukuna..."
He did not finish the sentence.
There was no need.
Although he had been suppressed inside his own body, he had not been completely unaware of what was happening outside.
Sukuna's overwhelming fury.
His growing fear.
And the absolute power that crushed him in the end.
Yuji had felt enough to understand exactly who had ended the battle.
