Chapter 355 - 355: Sol's Early Combat Data

It was only moments before the training ground grew heated with excitement.

Metal Bat rested his bat on his shoulder and flashed a wide grin, his eyes burning with fighting spirit. "Heh, now that sounds interesting! Taking on Mr. Sol's early combat data? Count me in. Let's see just how ridiculous this guy was back then."

Tanktop Master folded his arms across his broad chest, his muscles flexing naturally. "Training against the combat data of a powerful fighter is an efficient way to improve. I can also provide guidance on physical conditioning and defense."

Bang stroked his beard with a warm chuckle, though his sharp eyes never lost their focus. "Heh heh. Youthful enthusiasm always brings back memories. This old man is quite interested in seeing Sol's early fighting style as well."

Superalloy Darkshine struck a flawless bodybuilding pose, his booming laughter filling the training hall. "Hahaha! Battling Mr. Sol's data is the perfect opportunity to test my magnificent muscles. I'm joining too!"

Even Saitama rubbed his bald head with mild curiosity.

"Oh? Fighting Sol's old combat data? That's a little more interesting than playing games."

Genos immediately recorded the remark with complete seriousness.

"Saitama Sensei has expressed interest in battling Sol-senpai's early combat data. Does this indicate that Sensei acknowledges the effectiveness of data-based training?"

In an instant, several S-Class heroes, along with Saitama, were eager to participate, their attention fixed on the control panel Child Emperor was operating.

Watching these legendary heroes, Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara felt a tremendous sense of pressure, but even greater excitement.

"This is awesome! We get to learn from so many amazing seniors!" Itadori cheered, pumping his fists.

"Then we'll begin with the fundamentals," Child Emperor said, adjusting his glasses as his fingers moved rapidly across the control panel.

Tanktop Master stepped forward and looked over the three students.

"When facing an opponent like this, complicated tactics and surrounding them won't accomplish much. What matters are solid fundamentals, absolute focus, and explosive execution at the decisive moment."

He pointed toward Itadori.

"Your physical strength is excellent, but the way you generate force is still rough. Your power isn't concentrated efficiently. Focus it into a single point, like this."

He threw a punch.

A sharp sonic boom burst through the air, yet his fist stopped mere centimeters from the training dummy. The precision of his control was astonishing.

Itadori's eyes lit up, and he immediately began copying the movement.

Meanwhile, Metal Bat had already begun fighting a simulated Sol operating at seventy percent of his former strength.

"Take this!"

He roared as his bat cut through the air with overwhelming force.

Simulated Sol shifted slightly.

His left hand shot out like lightning, lightly touching the center of the bat and redirecting its momentum with an exceptionally refined Energy Dissipation technique.

Metal Bat felt an oddly soft force. His devastating swing felt as though it had struck a cloud, and his balance immediately shifted.

At the same time, Simulated Sol's right fist slid toward his abdomen like a venomous snake before releasing a terrifying one-inch strike filled with debilitating force.

Bang!

Metal Bat grunted and stumbled backward several steps, rubbing his stomach with a pained expression.

"Tch... This guy isn't that strong physically, but his techniques are unbelievably annoying."

Bang observed calmly from the side.

"Watch his footwork and how he shifts his center of gravity, Bat boy. His Energy Dissipation and debilitating force work together. You need to anticipate the flow of his movements instead of charging in recklessly. The simulation doesn't possess Combat Intuition, so use feints to draw out its responses."

Bang's advice immediately gave Metal Bat a clearer direction.

Instead of attacking head-on, he began mixing feints into his swings, carefully studying every subtle reaction the simulated Sol made.

"Footwork... center of gravity..."

He muttered to himself before advancing again.

This time, he launched a fake attack before abruptly changing directions, trying to exploit the instant Simulated Sol committed to defending.

Even at seventy percent strength, however, Simulated Sol displayed astonishing technique.

A simple sidestep and pivot effortlessly avoided the attack, while a hand chop was already aimed at Metal Bat's wrist.

"Tch!"

Metal Bat jerked his bat back to block.

Even so, the condensed impact left his arm numb.

"As expected, you're a pain to fight."

Simulated Sol returned to his original stance.

His crimson eyes remained expressionless as he silently waited for the next attack.

"Use feints... make him react..."

Metal Bat repeated quietly as he began circling his opponent, searching for an opening.

Suddenly, he lunged forward.

His bat appeared ready to chop downward before changing direction halfway through, sweeping low toward Simulated Sol's legs.

As expected, Simulated Sol reacted.

His body lowered slightly, and his left hand reached out once again to intercept the sweeping strike, preparing to use Energy Dissipation.

Now!

A sharp glint flashed across Metal Bat's eyes.

The feint instantly became his real attack.

Using the momentum created by the interception, he twisted his body like a tightly wound spring. Gripping the end of the bat with both hands, he swung upward from below at a far sharper angle and with much greater speed.

He deliberately sacrificed some power in exchange for speed and timing, aiming to strike Simulated Sol's torso before the Energy Dissipation technique could fully neutralize the attack.

"Ha!"

Bang!

A heavy impact echoed through the training ground.

At the final moment, Simulated Sol appeared to determine that the strike could not be completely redirected.

The muscles in his blocking arm tightened instantly as he took the blow head-on, his body forced back half a step.

"Not bad," Tanktop Master said with an approving nod. "He's learned to create openings with feints and attack while his opponent is committed to defending."

Bang smiled faintly.

"At this stage, Sol's physical abilities weren't especially impressive. What made him so difficult to fight were his Energy Dissipation, his debilitating force, and his nearly predictive Combat Intuition. He was the very embodiment of technique."
